===== Ship data =====

==== Cruisers ====
The largest ship class the Astrian Colonial Military fields. These ships are capable of enormous amounts of destruction. They are expensive to deploy, but their capabilities are well worth it. Cruisers are solely commanded by admirals.
  * Arch Devil class: the largest and heaviest of the cruiser types employed by the fleet, it's more akin to a fortress then a starship. Designed for battlefield domination, these ships are by far the most dangerous in the fleet.
  * Phoenix class: Smaller and lighter then the Arch Devil class, these ships generally found further away from the immediate action. This type of starship prefers to take out ships from long range, providing backup from the rear.

==== Destroyers ====
Bigger and bulkier then frigates, the destroyer class vessels of the Astrian Colonial Navy are generally smaller then the 'star destroyer' class often used by other factions. While significantly lighter armoured then cruisers, they make up for it by being fast and agile, which makes them harder to hit. Because of the low numbers of cruisers, destroyers are often seen as the bulk of the ACN's proverbial muscle. It is the only capital ship class that doesn't carry fighters or bombers.
  * Athena class: Mainly used in an anti-frigate role, the Athena class destroyer is fairly average compared to other ships in its class. Basically an all-purpose destroyer, it can be found in virtually every role in the fleet.
  * Durga class: The most heavily armed destroyer type, Durga class destroyers are the newest addition to the ACN's arsenal. These highly advanced warships take on everything smaller then a cruiser. They are also adept at deploying and supporting ground forces.
  * Bishamonten class: Slower then other destroyer classes, the Bishamonten class destroyer is mostly used in support roles. Aside from this they excel in siege operations as well.

==== Frigates ====
Small, light and fast, frigates make up the majority of the Astrian Colonial Fleet's capital ship numbers. Frigates are mainly used to take out large vessels such as cruisers. Faster and more manoeuvrable then destroyers, frigates are notoriously hard to hit by large vessels. Combined with low costs, lots of fire power and excellent troop deployment and support capabilities make these ships some of the most effective warships in Astrian Colonial Fleet.
  * Janissary class: The smallest of the frigate classes, Janissary class frigates are one of the few types designed to take on destroyers.
  * Paladin class: The largest of the frigate classes, Paladin class frigates are mainly used to defend cruisers and deploy ground troops.
  * Samurai class: A true frigate, the Samurai class frigates excel in their role of taking out large ships.
  * Valkyrie class: Fairly average in its capabilities, the Valkyrie class frigates are mostly used in support roles.
