Duchess Dewa Lanadi is married to Duke Langar Burhanis, the last decendant of House Langar and a normal [[veolian]]. She married him in a political marriage to cement the alliance between [[House Dewa]] and house Langar, in return Duke Langar enjoys the comforts of a young and attractive wife and the potential to sire hemet children to carry on his line.

Dewa Lanadi is a true daughter of House Dewa: economically minded and trained, in posession of great patience and long memory, and rumoured to have exquisite skill in the bedchamber.

Next to her other achievements, Dewa Lanadi succeeds [[Nehket Aeka]] as union senator for the Commonwealth.

Dewa Lanadi is the mastermind behind the hostile takeover on the now non-existent Gnosis Corporation division on [[Swyndale]], forming the new [[Cassandra Holdings]] and immediately raising capital through opening the holding up for public trading.

She also holds a position in the [[Kelwaraan Bank]], though the position mostly fulfils an advisory role.

In (:turn) 226, Lanadi was appointed as Senator of the to represent the interests of the Veolian Commonwealth in the [[Union senate]]. She follows [[Nehket Aeka]], who held the position of senator for the four years since the Veolian Commonwealth joined the Union.

She held the position of [[Ministry of Commerce|Minister of Commerce]] during the electorial period of (:turns)241-260, the cabinet of [[Kachiso Doshima]]. During this period as she proposed to increase the [[Offer of Aid Law]] through the [[Increased Offer of Aid Amendment Vote]].

In (:turn) 257 Dewa Lanadi starts her run for chancellorship on the basis that no one else is running, as chancellor [[Kachiso Doshima]] announces that he will not be running again. She wins the [[Turn 260 Union Elections]] with 15 votes in favour.
