Charios is quite the unique planet, producing enough geothermal energy to have oceans of frozen water while being far away from the sun. This has enabled a significant amount of wild life to arise, hardy creatures that can withstand the low temperatures of Charios. This has led to a somewhat stabilised ecosystem, however not a very comfortable home. In current design plans it has a loosly defined purpose, it provides more space now that Enthor is almost largely industrialised on an intergalactic scale. It was the first planet picked to colonise, but no large scale colonisation has happened to date as it has not been economically feasible to do so. It is however currently home to some extravagant resorts.
