The Bisidn Republic is a sovereign state in Sector 10 -7. It is a Federal Republic of three worlds in the Emiroga System and has a rich history going back thousands of years.
Originally Bisidn was an imperial system and its rules conquered large parts of space, subjugating its people and plundering entire worlds. With the death of Emperor Unremial XI, conflict broke out between his three children over who was the rightful heir to the throne. Infighting and conflict caused the Imperium to suffer great loses and within a decade the empire was little more than a failed state, with several worlds destroyed in the battles. It would take Bisidn centuries to recover.
Bisidn was reunited as a single state some three hundred years ago, forming the Federal Republic of Bisidn and its experience reuniting was instrumental in founding the Union.
The Bisidn people are very selfcontious of their imperial pasts and shun strong authority figures, with very few layers in their organisation and a lot of individual autonomy resulting in a high level of creativity. Bisidn's main export is entertainment and arts of all sizes and shapes.
