The Mirdan Home Guard (on Mirda) consists of volunteers, both nobles and commoners. The home guard subsists solely on donations from noble houses, and it's members have gain a small reputation boost; especially the commoners, who can sometimes use their connections within the home guard to achieve things not normally achievable for commoners.
