128, the Union's economy dived in to regression after an increase in crime due to the Mandalorian War and a sudden surge in illegal weapons sales. The Union's cabinet at the moment, with chancellor Ardios Eldrilith together with the minister of commerce, Atheos, responded to the recession by issuing a Union-wide stimulus respons of 15000 
, with larger economies receiving a larger stimulus subsidy.
The Veolian Commonwealth was the first to recover with a stimulus package being completed in 128 by imperial decree. In 131, most economies were already recovering from the recession through aid by the Union and several short-term loans. The IO Protocol was the last to recover, seeing the recession last until 153.
