Minister Kachiso Doshima opened a discussion on the outdated article 2(III) of the Turn 17 Subsidies Law. He proposes two solutions: remove the offending clause, or lift the restrictions on most regulated goods in the Special Goods Regulation Act. After a lengthy discussion — in which the implications of these changes are discussed by Nehket Aeka, Atheos, Senator Danar Tassar and Lady Peinaili de Montrève — a vote is opened in the following electoral period by chancellor Nehket Aeka.

The results of the vote are to remove Article 2(III) from the Turn 17 Subsidies Law.
