Blue Power

Some Zones and Special Projects require blue power ( ) to operate. So long as zones have blue power, they function normally. When there is no longer sufficient power, Brownouts would result, which is harmful to equipment so instead, localized Blackouts are created. This means in effect that zones for which there is not enough power will not function.

Blue Power is different in that it can be used in advanced heavy-duty industrial use and scales much better than the normal in-system power generated by normal power zones and orbital power capture.

Unlike normal power, Blue Power is not automatically generated, nor is there a base level of blue power present in systems with a star.

Blue Power can be obtained through several methods, first among them the Blue Power Transformer.

Blue Power can not normally be moved inside a system. However, having a Blue Power Transformer in the system allows you to use the Lagrange Point Conduit Stations to move blue power inside the system at no cost.
