Information (Symbol: ) includes all types of data from scripts for video games to images from stellar observatories and historical digs. It is used in the production of entertainment, in research and in the development of new technology. Information is not a physical good but a combination of sentient creativity and observation, and as such is subject to some special conditions, however for purposes of trade it is treated as a good.

Information is gathered in an Information Zone and are used to produce Research, Entertainment and ICT Technology. Additionally, they are used in the Hyperspace Nodes Special Good.

Due to its transient nature, information can be transported and traded through the Holonet.

Examples of specialisations for Information are Holo Scripts and Astronomical Observations.
