The Metals Processing Platforms is an upgrade that can only be applied to the Space Elevator zone. Once constructed it allows the construction of the Orbital Processing Cluster upgrade on all zones in the Metals industry. It is possible to construct multiple Processing Platforms on a Space Elevator, one for each industry.
