Praetorians originate from the planet Praeto. The ancient tales say that the first praetorians originated near the great lakes. Praetorians are reptiles with large wings with which they can fly at high speed. They are also good swimmers and have good maneuverability in water.

Praetorians see males and females as equal, for an outsider it is hard to distinguish between the two since they show mostly the same behavior. The praetorians have no special diet, they eat a lot of meat but also eat other organic material.

Far in the past the praetorians where selfish hoarders. Nowadays they still have a strong eye for rare elements that they can collect. They are still very fond of platina.

Since the creation of the Praetorian Empire they started to work together and had major technological advancement. Every Praetorian is trained for combat when he is little. The praetorians are very military oriented and have a strict military hirarchy that is used in their complete society.

The Praetorian lifespan is about 500 years and they are physically mature around the 40th year at which they will have a wingspan of about 3 meters. Praetorians get their offspring from eggs. It can take up to 5 years before a praetorian egg hatches.

Praetorians average around 2.5 meters in height when they stand on their back claws and can become up to 5 meters when fully matured. An average Praetorian has a wing span of 5 meters. Praetorians stand on two feet when they are in a conversation or use their two front claws to wield tools. When they run they use all four claws as legs.
