Accusing the Chancellor of Corruption
The Teprogrenaian Consensus accuses Chancellor Ardion Eldrilith of wrongly moving money from the cabinet to the Praetorian Empire.

To improve the defence of Unity, Chancellor Ardios Eldrilith opened a public tender for the acquisition of the required
and
for a Planetary Defence Grid around Unity. When after the presumed closing date of the tender the Teprogrenaian Consensus received no answer of who the deal got, they went to the Senate.
There, minister of defence Senator Danar Tassar accused the chancellor of corruption with the following arguments: The chancellor moved money from the improvement of unity fund to the contingency budget from the minister of finance. The Praetorian Empire had the deal. The deadline of the public tender placed by the Chancellor was past due and there were still no
delivered to Unity. The conclusion of Tassar was that ”...chancellor Ardios Eldrilith's public tender is only a ploy to move money to his own faction. For him, the other offers apparently don't matter and the deadlines can be ignored if it concerns the Praetorian Empire.”
Although Ardios Eldrilith explained the situation, the explanation didn't satisfy members of the senate like the Unified Republic of Darya, the Kingdom of Komès, the Confederacy of Excaria and the Astrian Colonial Authority. Senator Gregory Konev went for a motion of no-confidence which was seconded by the others.
Minister Nehket Aeka from the Veolian Commonwealth plied for a motion of sadness, as only the Chancellor was accused, and not the whole cabinet. This motion was seconded by Lady Peinaili de Montrève, Senator Harek and Senator Danar Tassar.

for the construction of a planetary defence grid around Unity with 6 votes in favour, 3 votes against and 8 abstains.
