Bolv'ar died in the hallway of a hotel in Unity City. Jedi Nathan Miodrass Asillion, Jedi Fecta Trigiel and Shebi Ajava were sent to investigate.

After investigating the scene of the death, the Jedi determined that Bolv'ar was most likely not murdered in the hotel. The Jedi moved on to the charity event he and his wife were at earlier. Here, the Jedi interrogated the guests, and the organizer of the event. After checking the guests at the same table, the Jedi focussed on the dietary requirements.

The Jedi split up, with Nathan Miodrass Asillion and Jedi Fecta Trigiel checking the pre-serving area, and Shebi Ajava interrogating the table guests. During the interrogation, Ajava discovered that Bolv'ar and his wife switched places. With this new information in hand, the Jedi noted that hsi wife had special dietary requirements, while Bolv'ar didn't.

After checking the serving droids the jedi discovered that droid TBL-D, the serving droid for Bolv'ar's table, had received instructions for the dietary requirements per holomail: the instructions were to add a powder to each course. Meanwhile, Nathan was interrogating the event organizer, as he had grown suspicious because of her answers.

The powder was delivered by package. Tracing the package did not offer a good lead, as the package was paid for with cash. The holomail traced back to the computer of the event organizer. With this evidence, the Jedi took Lurica Mildew, the organizer of the event, into custody in suspicion of murder.
