A small vessel carrying a Jedi was shot down over Unity City. Union security captured both vessels, determining that the vessel shooting was a Hutt Families vessel. The Hutt quickly contacted the Union to ensure this was an independent bounty-hunter and that the attack was not sanctioned. They also requested the Twi'lek in the shot down vessel be given to them as they were a wanted criminal.

After the Twi'leks medical conditions were resolved, he was questions, allowing the security forces to determine his name was evan_iri from Ryloth, a Colonel in the armed forces of the Slave Rebellion. After some debate, the Senate decided the Twi'lek Pilot would not be questioned on tactical secrets of the Slave Rebellion (no doubt what the Hutt were after), they would not be extradited, the Hutt vessel would be confiscated and the attackers prosecuted and the Veolian Commonwealth would offer asylum to the Twi'lek pilot.
