Naukā-lon-dorne

The Naukā-lon-dorne imperial yacht

The Naukā-lon-dorne is the private yacht of the Imperial family, House Saret, of the Veolian Commonwealth. Though it is officially registered as property of Saret Ilius, the emperor rarely uses it due to veolian culture with regard to negotiations and meetings. The yacht sees extensive use by Saret Neferti, both for official business and pleasure.

The name Naukā-lon-dorne roughly translates to 'yacht in the stars'.

The utility deck features a shuttle bay boasting two shuttles, three hoverbikes, and a jet-propelled boat. This deck also features a workshop equipped to deal with repairs, maintenance and in-flight modifications. The main galley can also be found on this deck, though it is connected to the lower deck with a dumbwaiter. The cargo hold can also be found here.

The crew deck features eight two-men cabins offering personal lockers and a place for meditation. Four cabins are fitted with beds, to allow non-hemet crew to get their sleep. The crew deck also features a small training gym for the crew, and a galley for the preparation of food for the crew and servants. Next to this, the crew deck also features two suites that are modified depending on demand; these are usually used to house any non-noble advisers aboard the ship. The crew deck also features a small but sophisticated medical centre.

Lower deck

The lower deck contains eight guest cabins with en-suite bath, each cabin is large enough to contain a small meditation room (which doubles as space for a bed if desired). Next to the cabins are two staterooms, each easily accommodating a couple and offering en-suite baths, a private room for each partner, and shared bedroom. The lower decks also contain the gym and duelling ring. The gym is large enough to accommodate eight passengers concurrently with enough room for servants and instructors to move around freely.

The main deck contains six staterooms, a bit larger and slightly more luxurious than those on the lower deck. The main deck also contains the salon, dining room and the ball room. Two disjoint entertainment rooms offer holovids and other entertainment fit for imperial consumption (such as live music, should an artist be on hand). The main deck also houses the bridge, and the captain's cabin, which is equivalent to a stateroom sans bedroom.

Upper deck

The upper deck features the imperial suite, a luxurious suite consisting of multiple rooms among which a private lounge, a study, an en-suite bath, a room for meditation and physical exercise, and the master bedroom. Immediately next to the imperial suite are two consort suites, both connecting the imperial suite to the sky lounge. Both consort suite consists of multiple rooms, but omit any bedroom. Both consort suites, and the imperial suite have adjoined cabin's for a few ladies-in-waiting, handmaidens and personal servants. Finally, the upper deck features the sky lounge, with a roof that can open up to allow unobscured vision into space, and the pool.
