Neimoidians are a species of humanoids that are distant genetic relatives of Duros. They are native to the planet of Neimoidia, but are found throughout the galaxy due to their nomadic tendencies. They have a reputation for greed and cowardice. Neimoidians generally place tremendous value on wealth and material possessions, and are said to go to great lengths to gain money and power, making them excellent traders.

Having special lung pods that expand and contract convulsively under great stress, they are said to be the only species with an entire organ devoted to worrying and most are very easily intimidated, hating combat.

Like the Duros, Neimoidians lay many eggs, though the larval grubs these produce are taken care of by the state in communal groups.
