[ Corporations ]

Motto: “Chances are, One is in your binary data!”

The One Corporation was originally formed by the IO Protocol from separate units and systems, but also features a large number of smaller corporations of various nationalities which were purchased, restructured and reassigned to serve in the greater scheme of the new company. In this, it basically followed the same scheme as the Zero Corporation in its creation.

Often joked to be the largest supplier of the one's in binary data, in actuality the One Corporation is more accurately described as one of the largest data-processing companies in the galaxy. Its primary focus, in contrast to Zero, is processing information into a more usable format, providing basic structure before it is processed further.

Example applications created by the company include text translation software, holonet searches and user interfaces. As a general rule, if a device processes data, One either produced the software or has a competing product that could have been used instead.

Notably though the One Corporation has employees of many different nationalities and races, it does not offer office space to its employees who can instead work from anywhere where there is a proper holonet uplink.

The One Corporation is not traded on the open market, and the IO Protocol is the full owner of the company.
