Chancellor Dewa Lanadi proposes to allow core worlds to vote in basic votes. She argues that this will allow those that take up the responsibility to lead the Union to still represent their own worlds.

After some questions from the senate, a votes is opened. The proposal to increase the duration of the electoral period wins with 7 of 8 votes in favour. The amendment to the Union Voting Laws goes into effect immediately.
