This planet has a rotational axis at a large angle to its orbital plane, near 90 degrees. As a result, the seasons are very extreme. Summers are one seemingly endless day and winters are a seemingly endless night. A tilted planet gains a +25 production bonus on half its zones (round up) and a -25 production penalty on the other half (round down).

For reasons of simplicity (and it messing up the trade routes), we do not calculate seasons.

You may tilt the axis of a gas giant or star for free for roleplay reasons - it has no effect.
