Large scale trade needs to be in balance. But with good planning, it is possible to set up large-scale one-way trade routes without negative side-effects.

Trade Routes, as described in Corporate Logistics, do no longer require that a trade fleet is assigned by either side. However, any side that does not assign a trade fleet can not benefit from the doubled capacity (nor do they get any trade capacity from the trade route).
