The Daryan embassy grounds are covered by a very large clear dome separating it from the rest of Unity. The dome has several openings the largest one being the main entrance with a gravel drive that connected all the buildings to the outside. The second big opening is over a landing pad where several smaller spaceships are parked.

On each side of the main drive towards the embassy building are two guards in traditional daryan military outfits who are staring straight ahead.

Just pas them on the right is a reception building witch proudly flies the Daryan flag and above its door is the logo of the Republic with its sickle and stardestroyer.

In the centre of the dome stands the main building itself an office building of approximately 10 floors going nearly to the top of the dome. The building contains an impressive glass façade where the logo of the Unified Republic of Darya is placed in with stained glass. In the Cul-de-sac infront of the building several flagpoles are proudly flying the daryan flag.

On the steps of the embassy building stood a Mudry with brown hair and green skin in a neatly pressed suit waiting for Serrah to arrive.

((OOC: think of the guards as those at Buckingham palace and the likes. But without the giant hats.))

An expensive hovercar pulled into the drive-way, and silently came to a stop on front of the stairs.

The door opened with hiss, and a veolian man wearing a business suit with a good fit stepped out of the car. He turned around, and held out his hand to help an attractive twi'lek step out of the car.

The pair climbed the steps to the waiting Mudry, and the twi'lek woman stated: "I am Serrah, and this is mister Keranht a terraformation specialist, we have an appointment with Senator Konev with regards to a terraformation project."

"Welcome miss Serrah and mister Keranht to the embassy of the Unified Republic of Darya. My name is Nicu Koziol I will take you to senator Konev's office where he is waiting for you." The waiting mudry said with a small bow.

"If you would follow me." He said a moment later before leading the pair in the the building.

He lead them Into the large atrium that went all the way to the top floor. A few mudry were seen in the atrium going from one room to an other. A few things were immediately noticeable. Several floor of the building were were allot lower than standard and also had no railings on the balcony towards the atrium. This in contrast with the floors that were full hight.

The Mudry lead them to a large white disc surrounded by a glass railing next to the large staircase leading up to the second floor. When the group was on the disc Mr Koziol pressed a few buttons on a control panel and the railing closed itself and the disc floated upwards to the top floor.

"Miss Serrah if i may have a moment of your time? It is my understanding that you are the property of Chancellor Nehket Aeka. Therefore I must inform you that slavery is not allowed in the Daryan Republic and should you choose to do so that you would be allowed to live in the republic as a free woman." He said to her while the elevator brought them to the top floor.

Serrah looked at the mudry with an unreadable expression, before smiling.

"Hmmm." was all she said.

As the elevator rode up, she looked the mudry over in silence. Just as the elevator doors open, she replies: "That is a most generous offer, mister Koziol, but I politely decline. While I am sure that life in the Daryan republic would not be lacking, my mistress provides me with everything I could wish for. And being her property offers me opportunities that I would simply not be able to even perceive were I not hers."

"Understandable then I shall not bother you with this topic any more." Mr Koziol responded. He lead them to an office a little further down the hallway to an office with two big glass doors and a name plaque proclaiming "Senator Gregory Konev" in both Galactic Basic and Vyzova.

This room turned out to be a front office with a few chairs for people to sit in while they waited for there appointment and a desk where the was a 30 year old female mudry with brown hair and green skin. When they entered the lady quickly spoke something in the intercom the non-Vyzova speakers could only understand the 2 names those of Konev and of Koziol.

"Senator Konev has been waiting for you please go in." she said as the second set of door in the back of the front office opened inside the office were two people the first was easally recognised as senator Konev who had just turned around to face the door. the other person was a female mudry non of the veolians had seen before. She looked like a buisness woman neatly pressed suit and a sharp look in her brown eyes.

The office was quite large with several big windows at the back so one could look out over parts of the embassy grounds and unity city it self. In front of the window was a big desk with some nicknack's strewn over it. On the left of the room was a chest of drawers above with was a painting of senator Konev in his younger years and on top of the chest of drawers were many picture frames. There was also a hat-stand next to the chest of drawers it contained Konev's distinctive cap and jacket.

On the right of the room was a table with several chairs around it witch at the moment displayed a holographic image of the ShasKar system. half of the chairs were clearly made for humans sized creatures while the other half was for mudry so they could talk at an equal hight when they sat down.

"Senator Konev I present you miss Serrah senator Nehket Aeka's representative and mister Keranht a terraformation expert." Mr Koziol introduced.

"Thank you Nicu" Konev responded with a nod. Mr Koziol then left and closed the doors.

"Greetings miss Serrah and mister Keranht welcome to my office. And allow me to introduce my assitant. This is miss Maja Viktoriya Pasternak she is one of the people who helped with the design and requirements of the new project." Konev said after the door had closed.

Giving them a moment to acknowledge each other he then continued "If you want to hang up your coat go right ahead" indicating the hat-stand. "After that lets have a seat and talk"

Serrah took of her coat, and handed it to the male veolian. What little clothing she wore underneath was clearly expensive, and was just enough to walk around in public.

"Senator Konev, Miss Pasternak", she said with a bow, "It is an honour to meet you in person." She motioned to the veolian man, "Allow me to introduce my terraformation expert for today, mister Keranht."

"Senator Konev, Miss Pasternak, it is a pleasure to meet you.", he said in fluent Basic before the two sat down in two of the correctly-sized chairs.

It was clear that Serrah was the negotiator of the pair, as she started of: "Senator Konev, we have analysed your request and based on our good relations we have already started preparations for the production of terraformation modules to be shipped to your system.

However, there are some details we need to discuss. Not the least of which is the order of execution of the different terraformation projects. Mister Keranth will explain the details to you.

Mister Keranth stood, and pointed to Salyut and Drugu on the holo projection. "We have calculated that it might be beneficial to combine the atmospheric improvements on both Salyut and Drugu into a single project per moon. This would allow us to first improve the economic output of those worlds, and later on enhance these worlds further with natural life.

That would leave us with 9 distinct sub-projects: Surface Heating & Atmospheric Purification of Salyut, Biogenesis on Salyut, Surface Heating & Atmospheric Purification on Drugu, Biogenesis on Drugu, and Atmospheric Purifications on Rebenka, Woshod, Kikan, Buran, and Sokar. We leave the order up to you. Of course, we could split or combine the projects on Salyut and Drugu of you so desire." He sat back down.

"There is also the matter of payment to discuss", Serrah continued. "We have determined that the combined total of these projects would be 33 375 (:tax). Here, the numbers." She handed a datapad to the senator:

Terraformation project cost totals
Initiation costs: 8 750 (:tax)
Modules costs: 23 625 (:tax) (4725 (:terraform) at 5.0 (:tax) per (:terraform))
Licensing Fee: 1 000 (:tax) (UE-NT-ED license of Atmospheric Purification)

Estimated total: 33 375 (:tax)

"We propose that we round the projects price up to 34500 (:tax), payable in 1500 (:tax) per (:turn) for 23 (:turns), starting in (:turn) 94. In exchange, our terraformation engineers will take care of the details of planning the optimal terraformation strategies for your preferred ordering. We will assign a project liaison that will guide you through the whole process from start to finish, taking care of things like the on-time start of project initiations.

If you agree, we can start the first project in (:turn) 98, and will ensure successful completion of all projects at the latest on (:turn) 125."

"The honour is ours." Konev said accepting the greeting for both of them. "I think miss Pasternak can give you the best answers to your questions mister Keranht."

The young woman looked at Konev for a short moment before she began. "We have determined that priority lays with the terraformation of Salyut as many factory's have been built there recently. Considering our system has enough power at the moment drugu has the lowest priority. For the rest there is no special priority assigned to the projects. If you can work with that maybe we can make a planning that is most convenient to your production processes." Miss Pasternak said in fluent but accented galactic basic the last bit seemed to be aimed at Keranth. During explanation she pointed out the planets she mentioned on the hologram.

During Serrah's explanation Konev had gotten his reading glasses from the pocket of his sweater and read along with her explanation. "Most of the pricing seems to be in order." he said as he checked the pricing. "So for 1125 (:tax) you will smooth out the process?" he asked just before Pasternak handed him a note that he quickly checked. "Thank you Maya." he said to her. "Aha! its not as bad as I thought 3.3% seems not unreasonable for smoothing out the process. With these large numbers ratios are sometimes bigger than one initially expects." he said to Serrah sounding a bit apolegetic for his ealyer has tone about the number.

"Maya is 31 (:turn) reasonable for a project of this size?" he asked turning to her and getting a nod in return. "Well then it seems that there are no big concerns about the pacing an the price."

"Yes we will accept this proposal." konev responded.

"It seems reasonable for a project of this size. I however cannot sign for it as my president wanted to sign this in person because it is such a big project. I can however sign an intent of sale so you have budget to make preparations."

"Senator I think you made a mistake." Maya Plasternak said. "I think you mean." she said several words in vyzova. "but you said." she said some different words in vysova.

Konev looked at her for a moment seeming to think about what was said. "My apologies miss Serrah I made a translation mistake. There is a word in vysova to explain what I wanted to say but it does not translate well to galactic basic." he seemed to think for an other moment.

"I think it is best to explain what my president wants with the contract. She wants a contract signing ceremony where she can show her dedication to her election promises. But since those things some times take a while on Darya we have something that translates best to an intent of sale contract. It means that everything is already arranged like payment start date etcetera and that the deal is official and cannot be changed. And it allows the person in charge his public relations moment." Konev said explaining what was going on.

"I will sign this contract and make it official and business can start." He looked over to contract for a moment looking of a place to sign. Having found it he signed the contract making it official that Darya was going to pay 34500 (:tax), payable in 1500 (:tax) per (:turn) for 23 (:turns), starting in (:turn) 94 with the last terraformation completing on (:turn) 125.

"And could we perhaps arrange so we can have a ceremony with a ceremonial contract for the press and the people?" he asked after he was done.

"No apologies are necessary, senator Konev. I understand that vyzova is a very information-dense language, so a few translation mistakes are to be expected. In contrast with Ryl, my native tongue, Galactic basic is very bland and boring as well."

Also signing the contract, Serrah smiled as she put down her name followed by that of her mistress.

"We can certainly arrange for a ceremonial signing. Would your president expect someone of the imperial family be present to sign? What kind of public relations purpose does this ceremonial meeting have? Because I would be honoured to sign on behalf of my mistress...", she left the last statement hanging, as if expecting a direct answer.

((OOC: Now that the deal is done. It's time for more RP ^_^))

"Hmm" Konev said when she suggested that Serrah sign her self. "That is an interesting proposal." he seemed to ponder for a moment letting the statement sink in.

"Our original hope was that someone of the board of directors of you terraformation company would like to come." Konev stroked his chin for a moment. "The idea is to show good relations between our factions and show the public that we are working towards a better future."

"You could make a statement by signing yourself but it could also backfire. An the one hand you could show that your position is not what most people on Darya assume it is. But it might also offend some and they would say that our president is not important enough and only gets a slave as a visitor. If you understand what I'm saying."

He looked at the holoprojection on the table seemingly in deep thought. "Per haps you have an idea for my dilemma?" he asked looking back a Serrah again.

"How is someone from the board of directors more important than me?!", Serrah asked incredulously. "I think I understand what you are saying. You are saying that your people do not understand that I am a representative of my mistress, and that your president would not even warrant my mistress's attention?

If this is the case, we must make sure that your president does not lose any face, while at the same time we should make sure that your people come to understand that I am not just 'a slave'."

"Maybe we can find a compromise. Let us say that we invite the chair of the board of directors. If he would be sufficiently deferential to me, would your people understand that I sign the contract? From a veolian perspective, this would be a social favour to the chair of the board of directors, as he is grossly overshadowed by the owners of holding that owns of the terraformation companies, the Sarets. How would this look from a Daryan perspective?"

"You have a good plan there." one could almost the the gears grind in his head as he was thinking about her suggestion.

"Yes this might work. You would need to be introduced last on your side. That would then mean that that you are more important then the chairperson. And since they are the chair of the board of directors it would automatically mean that you are very important in the eyes of the Daryan public."

"I think this will work but one thing witch might smooth over many things is if you were not to introduce yourself directly as a slave. But as a negotiator of house Nekhet or the Veolian Commonwealth who made it possible. Would such a term be acceptable to you and Lady Nekhet Akea?"

"Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of our trick? If your people aren't aware that I am my mistress' property, then they would not see that the we have a different notion of what a slave is... I wouldn't mind being introduced as a negotiator, but my mistress very much likes people to know that I am hers. And in all honesty, I am hers, I am also her negotiator and representative, but to only show that to your people would be a deception."

"You are correct. It seems that we need a more clever plan..." he was suddenly interrupted by an aid flying in at high speed. "Senator Konev President Trostnik is on line one."

"I'm terribly sorry miss Serrah but I have to take this call. Maya could you escort our guest outside as I have no idea how long this will take." Konev said after he processed what was said to him.

Before they left he said to them. "Have your people contact my people maybe they can fix our problem."

Understanding the gravity of a call directly from the president, Serrah calmly collected her datapad and put it in her bag.

The man that accompanied her offered her a hand to help her stand.

"Senator Konev, it has been a pleasure to speak with you", Serrah stated before she was escorted outside.
