"Having all the money you need is always a good thing, not having to worry about such things gives peace of mind.

Aside from the Force, what do jedi value most?"

"Freedom.

The freedom for everybody to do as they wish as long this does not affect others badly. The force guides us in our actions, but ultimately we are responsible for our actions, and have the freedom to make our own decisions. Often the force guides us in the right direction, and its wise to listen to the force, but we must make the actions and decisions ourself. We cannot say 'it was the force'.

In a way, the jedi teachings are sometimes very much like my cultural heritage: My culture tells me to be selfless, to put the Consensus above myself. My jedi teachings tells me to help others, to sacrifice myself in order to safe others.

What are the values of Astrians?"

"Equality and freedom.

We firmly believe in treating others as equals. Well, it's actually a bit more complicated than that. I can't really explain it correctly, suffice it to say we only discriminate on an individual basis.

The freedom to be who you are is very important to us and judging someone for it is looked down upon.

Have the Jedi ever given you an order you where unwilling to follow?"

Trigiel had to think for a moment: "No, not as far I can think of. Maybe there were things I didn't agree with, but I cannot say any more which those are, so they probably were not important.

I understand how it is more complicated than just treating others as equal. Your are a gigantic ship, how are you and somebody else ever going to treat eachother equal? You simply are not.

Say, if it is not to rude, can I see your interior? "

"That depends on what part of my interior you want to see. But I don't really see why not. Is it all right if I send down a transport for you?

The camera crews are staying outside though."

"Well, I like to see everything, but sadly I think there is no time for that. Why don't you show me the highlights of your body?

And sure, you can send a transport, but this platform is perfectly capable of entering one of your docking bays as well." Trigiel lower headflaps extended slightly, making something of a smile, or whatever you could call that on a cyborg head.

((OOC: The party is already standing on a hovering platform, in case you have forgotten :).))

"I would think that, being a pilot, you would know about atmospheric conditions. The winds up here are rather fast and powerful. I wouldn't want you to be blown off the platform. It's easier for me to send down a transport.

Like I said those camera crews are not coming on board. I can show you a few places on board, but some I can't show you. Nothing personal, I just have confidentiality agreements with several companies for a number of prototypes I test for them.

Now can you make sure I have permission to launch a transport?"

((OOC: No but you seem to forget Shadow of War's size. His hangars and docking bays aren't exactly close to the ground.

Besides your not sneaking a camera crew on board. ;P))

"Not here, it is a clear day with little wind. And besides, the island is shielded against against most of the wind. And don't forget that your body creates a lee as well. But if it pleases you, send down the transport, it makes little difference for me." Trigiel was silent for a moment, before he continued: "I gave your transport official clearance to land. So there will no no trouble. You have also permission to land a transport for any visitors in the near future."

((OOC: The teprogrena are no idiots, of course this platform can reach the required hight to reach your docking bay :).))

"I suppose, the winds up here though are a different story. You do know wind speed increases with altitude right?"

A few moments later an elongated craft appeared and started to come closer. It was a simple transport, nothing fancy. It stopped sideways and a door opened in front of Trigiel. After he had stepped inside the door slammed shut behind him and the transport took off. Trigiel couldn't find a cockpit, so he would have to sit down on one of the benches if he wanted to sit. Combining how the craft looked from the outside and the inside, it seemed this craft was little more than a passenger compartment with an engine.

It took only a few moments before the door opened again and reviled a hangar holding a number of other craft. Some where transports like the one Trigiel just stepped out of, while others looked like medical transports and search and rescue crafts.

"Welcome on board Mister Trigiel, if you would be so kind to take the door on your right." Shadows voice came from the intercom. A small part of the wall on Trigiel's right opened.

'You mean your ego increases with altitude,' Trigiel though to himself, when Shadow of War continued to have no faith in decent Teprogrenaian construction or jedi for that matter.

In the transport, Trigiel kept standing, and enjoyed the wonderful view of approaching the enormous construction Shadow of War was.

Once inside Trigiel took a look around, enjoying the Astrian construction. Then he followed the door on his right, wondering where it would lead to.

The door closed behind Trigiel. A long corridor was ahead of him.

"Just go straight ahead. I'm unaware of the specification of your cybernetics. If you can connect to my internal network, I can show you around much easier. If you want to that is, I would be sending additional data to your ocular implant."

((OOC: No seriously, wind speed increases with altitude. This is a known meteorological fact. Sure your platform can reach a km in altitude but even if the platform isn't blown off course Trigiel can still be blown off the platform. We're talking about 50+ kph wind speeds here, not a gentile summer breeze.))

"Nah, walking is fine." And so Trigiel walked straight ahead, following Shadow of War's instructions till the first location of interest.

((OOC: Dude, I know, but Shadow of War is offending the skills of the Teprogrenaian people, and a jedi in particular >:(. When a jedi says 'it's fine', than it generally is, especially on the very homeplanet of that jedi where he lived for many years and took flight lessons.

Trigiel said for a reason that the area is shielded against wind, the Consensus knew about the sizes of Shadow of War and took the necessary precautions. Shielding against wind is only one of them ;). And one more thing: Please don't tell me how my planet works, that is very annoying.))

((OOC: Also, I have tranquillity, which might nullify what you know about a planet.

And to be clear, I don't mind Shadow of War IC being a little arrogant telling how he thinks stuff works, but I do mind when you bring it to an OOC level :(.))

((OOC: Sorry I completely missed the shielded part and I didn't check the system page either. I just thought it was a case of you thinking something was A while I knew it was B, which led me to believe you where being stubborn. While I just had missed something. And then I try to educate you which leads you to thinking I'm being stubborn.

This was a misunderstanding due to me not reading properly. Sorry. :)))

"You would still have to walk, I can just show you which way to go easier. But if you rather not that's fine too."

After a walking a bit a part of the wall on Trigiel's right opened up to reveal another corridor.

"Please take the corridor to your right."

A few minutes of walking latter and another wall opened, bright light streaming into the scarcely light corridor, from the opening. When Trigiel stepped through the door, he stepped onto a field. An artful landscape, quiet and calming. Different plants and trees where spread in patches across the field. Projections on the walls and the ceiling made it look like Trigiel was standing on a planet rather than inside a ship.

Without hesitation, Trigiel stepped in the room. He looked around in the artificial landscape, admiring the very impressing quality of the projections: "What a wonderful high quality projection room you have, what's the use of it?"

"Well it's a garden actually. These are plants I have collected on my travels, the projections on the walls are just to give a better atmosphere.

The plants here are from 14 different worlds. I study their properties and document them. I sell that information to whoever is interested. It doesn't provide as much as the star charts I make, but every bit is one more then you had before right?"

"How do you decide what plants to study? I mean taking random plants from random worlds is not very effective. There are hundreds to thousands of worlds with billions of plants each. Trying randomly to get useful information to sell will cost more money than anyone probably will ever pay for it."

"It doesn't really cost me anything, I have all the equipment needed on board. I just send out a bunch of drones to collect samples and document the landscape.

If a plant peaks my interest I either take seeds or a whole plant. Sometimes I ask local inhabitants and buy samples from them. Keep in mind this isn't really a job, I take most plants simply as a souvenir. It's more trying to get random information to learn more, if that information turns out to be worth selling that is just an added bonus.

And it's one of the few things I can regularly do when I travel through Hyperspace. By the way, any plants that might be interesting on this planet?"

Well, the Cacnea is a popular plant. They are in tree form and in plant form. They produce a nice smell and hold many insects. The plants have nice flowers over the entire year, while the trees have these nuts which are used for many applications. Like colouring, ingredients for sauce over the insects and some healthcare applications I believe. Other plants I don't really know. you should ask a botanist about that.

How many plants do you have here?"

"Are you certain the tree and the flower are the same species? That certainly is a very unusual quality.

I have about 50 different species in this garden and approximately 10,000 on board in total. Most of those I have already researched and filed completely."

"I believe that they are the same species yes, but I'm not sure. Maybe they are only of the same family. You can better ask a botanist about that.

Are all your gardens this size, or do you have some bigger ones as well? Each with their own atmosphere I presume?"

"I have a few that are bigger, for very large plants. I also have a few smaller ones. And yes they do have tier own atmosphere. The mixture varies slightly for each one, but is roughly the same.

Chambers like these are the only rooms that remain pressurized during flight. Though I keep more pressurized if I have passengers.

Do you ever miss the taste of food as a cyborg?"

"Strangely, no. For some reason I don't really feel the urge to eat or drink and neither miss the sensation of fresh bugs. I think it is because I'm never hungry as my life support system keeps track of my need for nutritions. So my brain never receives the message that my body is hungry, as my body never is.

Do you miss bugs, or bread or what do Astrians actually eat?"

"I do sometimes miss the taste of food. A nice steak for example. I even miss the awful sludge they had us eat when we were prepared for becoming travellers.

Since Astrians are omnivores we eat pretty much everything organic. Our diet is fairly similar to humans. However we do eat more meat. We also eat less often and larger portions."
