First Shebi Fleet

Those aboard the first shebi fleet had, on the instinctive information that had flown into their minds, braced themselves for a barrage of mass driver rounds. Mere moments after the barrage didn't impact, a completely new stratagem rushed through the minds of captains and deck hands alike.

With the Mandalorians dropping into the atmosphere, Ajava was glad that her family had the good sense of planning their fleet for invasion. Though the fleet was nowhere near suitable for a full-on assault of a world, preparations had already begun. With a smoothness that can only be attained when a Jedi is in command, the crew of the carriers began readying atmospheric superiority fighters for launch.

Ajava sat down on the ground in front of the large holographic display of the strategic battle scene. She closed her eyes and let her consciousness expand to command the whole of the carrier battle groups. If this was going to work, the fighters would have to make use of every single weakness they could find and exploit, and they not only had to be fast they had to get the most out of their superiority in the 'terrain'.

There was no time for normal communication, so Ajava took it upon herself to make every wing leader aware of every single weakness.

((Combat, round 3: Attacking Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943), Offensive advantage action: Deploy atmospheric superiority fighters ((Check: 8 = 2 Fleet Inner Attack + 2 Skirmish Style + 2 Jedi + 1 Military Command + 1 Battle Meditation -- Deploying material adapted to the 'terrain'))

((OOC: Praetorian Primary Fleet

Attacking the enemies engines to limit manoeuverability is an acceptable move and you have the opportunity here. Unfortunately, the Mandalorian Fleets are specifically equiped for this kind of manouvre, frequently entering the atmosphere of other worlds to assist in raids. Between that and their solid defences, a check of 6 is cutting it pretty close. I decided to allow it, but barely. approved

Your fleet has been beaten on 2 out of 3 rings, which means unfortunately your fleet is off balance next round.

First Shebi Fleet

According to the wiki, you do not have an army attached to the First Shebi Fleet. Atmospheric Superiority Fighters are more fitting for an army than a fleet - while I'm not saying the fleet cannot have them, they probably don't have the numbers to engage in a significant way.

That said, they will have an advantage in the atmosphere, so I can see them giving at least some benefit. Given your high check, I have decided to allow it, though without the Jedi there, I would have said no. approved

The combined attack of the two fleets puts the Briikase Bes'laar off balance.))

The combined fire on the Mandalorians caused some lucky hits, one of the Mandalorian Star Destroyers crashing into an Azaryan hive structure, causing massive damage and taking it out of battle forever!

Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943)

Using the planet to cover their belly, the Mandalorian vessels positioned themselves over the Azaryan hive clusters, creating a significant dillema for the Union forces: any attacks on the Mandalorians would risk hitting the civilian population below - using only precision weapons would be less effective, so this posed a significant problem. Their fire continued indiscriminately, however.

((OOC: The Briikase Bes'laar is taking another Defensive Advantage Action, using Azaryan cities as backdrop cover to limit Union firing options.

However, Union fleets may choose to ignore civilian casualties and continue to unload full scale fire. If you choose to do so, this will negate the the defensive bonus versus that attacker (thus they can pass rings more easily), though there may be political consequences to doing this.

Note that this effect applies from round 5 onwards as they still have to move in position. During this round Mandalorian forces are still moving in position so you can target without worrying about civilians in round 4.))

  • Off Balance
  • Defensive Advantage (in planets atmosphere)
))

Kandosii (MF 944)

Flying ahead to the Praetorian fleet in their new formation, the fleet sped up. Corvettes in the lead ignored massive defensive fire from the Praetorians and pierced straight into their formation. At first it seemed a retarded manoeuvre, causing major harm to the Mandalorian forces, but then many of the star destroyers began to shake at their foundations.

The Corvettes were not just flying into the Praetorian formation - they were actively ramming into the Praetorian ships, fighters providing cover.

Though smaller, these vessels did more than merely causing damage by running into you, they actively grappled onto ships being rammed, and boarding parties started cutting into the Praetorian hulls, sending Mandalorian warriors into the union ships!

((OOC: The Kandosii are performing a special manoeuvre that is part of the Mandalorian Ramming Formation. This special manoeuvre automatically causes damage to the Mandalorian fleet, but allows the engagement of boarding parties (which can make Direct Combat Actions in later rounds) and it causes automatic damage as well.

This means both the Kandosii and the Praetorian Primary Fleet lose an effectiveness level.

To be clear, I invented this special manoeuvre because I think it fits the Mandalorians. I am using it now, but it may need adjustment in the future to fit the rules (perhaps get its own formation to go with it) and be more properly balanced. For now, you'll have to deal with it.))

Praetorian Primary Fleet

The Praetorian primary fleet continued their assault on the Briikase Bes'laar. The capital ships started to fire a large salvo of electronic countermeasures towards the Briikase Bes'laar. Directly after these countermeasures hindered their targeting sequence the large gun emplacements were hit by a swarm of fighters and bombers.

After firing their countermeasures and launching their full force they braced for impact.

((OOC: I just found out that I have been making a serious error in the caculation of my fleet's defence ratings (I accidentaly used the stats of the Barrage Formation instead of the Skirmish Formation):
  • Round 2: was 5/4/5 should have been 4/4/6 -> Should have gone Off-Balance
  • Round 3: was 5/4/5 should have been 4/4/6 (or 3/3/5 with the Off-Balance) -> Can't say what would've happened
I am unsure how much this has affected the battle, since the Praetorian fleet just would've flipped their formation to match. Then again, I haven't calculated all the possible paths... If the ST feels a penalty is in order, let me know.))

With the Briikase Bes'laar's off-balance and their maneuvrability hampered, even if it was just for a moment, Ajava saw that this was the last opportunity to fire capital ship weapons into the fleet. In a few minutes, their capital ships would be over the hive clusters, making any kind of volatile salvo impossible.

She ordered the fleet to ignore the smaller Kandosii and flip over so their bellies were away from the planet. She continued with ordering an aiming sequence to focus all fire on those capital ships in the larger fleet that have already sustained damage. She uses her Jedi training to ensure that all shots are synchronized, not willing to allow the Mandalorian shields to regenerate in between salvoes. She knows that this won't seriously impact the Briikase Bes'laar's effectiveness in the battle, but it does cut down on the amount of material they can throw in front of follow-up assaults.

((Combat, round 4: Attacking Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943), Offensive DCA (+3/+0/+0) ((Check: 6 = 2 Fleet Outer Attack + 2 Jedi + 1 Military Command + 1 Battle Meditation -- Flip over and focus fire aiming sequence))

((OOC: Elmer and I think that the maneuvre is a) cool, b) shouldn't be usable more than once in combat, because it is c) rather overpowered and ignores the parry mechanism. (We do like the maneuvre idea though, and will try to balance it for PC use -- it would be an awesome Mandalorian tech) :P))

Noticing the Mandalorian Movements into the planets atmosphere, Admiral Haelstein contacted the Invincible Fury of the Dawn.

"This is Admiral Haelstein calling the Invincible Fury of the Dawn. Princess, we have noticed the Mandalorian movements in the upper atmosphere towards the Azaryan Hive clusters. If you need us too, I can look into methods to shield the cluster from any debris. My chief engineer thinks that we might be able to expand the shields on our cruisers to encompass parts of the clusters.

It would limited our ability to hold of the Mandalorian ground forces, but it would provide you with the means to continue engaging the fleet. We would need some time to make the necessary changes and reposition part of our fleet, but my chief engineeer believes it can be done."

((OOC: I noticed an issue with the combat system - because you now actually damage the Briikase Bes'laar, it is no longer off balance. Which is sort of peculiar... o_O I am making a battle-field ruling that if you are damaged and lose an effectiveness level, this causes you to go off balance.

Special note: The Briikase Bes'laar has a defensive advantage of using the Azaryan cities as cover. However, Union fleets may choose to ignore civilian casualties and continue to unload full scale fire. If you choose to do so, this will negate the the defensive bonus versus that attacker (thus you can pass rings more easily), though there may be political consequences to doing this. You can still attack if you do not ignore this defence (using precision weapons). In either case, if you attack the Briikase Bes'laar, please note specifically whether you ignore their bonus or not.

Praetorian Primary Fleet

I mean the ramming thing should probably have its own formation, but I did not design one. For the sake of simplicity at this time I handle it as a special manoeuvre of the standard formation. It should - eventually - be part of a ramming formation thingamajig.

Launching countermeasures is somewhat vague, I am not sure what 'countermeasures' means. Are they miniature droids with transmitters, missiles, sonic beams, lasers, frozen yogurt, electrical fields, what? I normally would say no because of this, but you do explicitly explain what the countermeasures do: interfere targeting sequences of the large gun emplacements. Moreover, you follow through by fighter attacks on those same things. Such an attack is very specific and I believe combined with the countermeasures this should be a valid. For this reason I shall allow the action.

That said, your score of 5 is well below the enemies current defences against fighters. Since they have their fighter defences covered, I am going to rule the removal of the offensive advantage action as failed.

First Shebi Fleet

Thank you for notifying us on the incorrect use of stats. I think at this point it is too late to really correct everything. Please use the correct stats from now on however.

I am not sure how flipping over affects battle (mainly cause I dont know what Veolian ships look like, which is unreasonable to ask anyway). I'm sure its helpful in some way. I do understand the details of focussed fire, taking out as many capital ships as possible. Since this is a DCA, I shall allow it. Your score is enough for this I think since you match the enemies defences. approved

Note that I agree on the "once per combat" rule.))

The Mandalorian ramming manoeuvre caused significant damage to the Praetorian Primary Fleet, making it go off balance once more and causing it to lose an effectiveness level (as noted previously). With the arrival of their new Jedi commander, most likely things would be alright. Meanwhile the brutal combined assault of the Veolian and Praetorian fleet caused the Briikase Bes'laar to lose a level of effectiveness.

Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943)

With the Azaryan cities as cover, the Briikase Bes'laar reorganised its defences, taking a more offensive position as it oriented itself upwards to face the First Shebi Fleet. From here, the remaining capital ships opened up lower bays to deploy large sized particle cannons. These ray weapons required some charging but could pack a huge punch!

((Combat, round 5: Attacking First Shebi Fleet, taking offensive advantage action (deploying particle cannons). Since the Briikase already has 3 advantage actions, and cannot have more, one defensive advantage action will be lost upon acquiring - specifically the planets atmosphere one.

Attack: 5 (:outer-attack) / 5 (:middle-attack) / 5 (:inner-attack) - Standard Formation
Defence: 7 (:outer-defence) / 7 (:middle-defence) / 7 (:inner-defence) - Standard Formation
  • Offensive Advantage (extended targeting sequence)
  • Off Balance
  • Defensive Advantage (in planets atmosphere)
  • Defensive Advantage (using Azaryan cities as cover -special-)
))

Kandosii (MF 944)

Boarding parties spread out en-mass into the Praetorian capital ships, moving to destroy key facilities like engines, weapons and even the bridge in some cases. The Mandalorians were well equiped for close quarter ship fighting and their armour made them quite resilient to the ships internal defences, allowing them to penetrate deeply into the enemy ships. The worst was yet to come however - upon being driven back, the Mandalorians deployed bombs inside the Praetorian ships, to blow them up from the inside!

Even so, the fleet had taken major damage and their attack - if brutal - was unlikely to cause serious harm to the Praetorians, who had far more ships by now.

((Combat, round 5: Attacking Praetorian Fleet, Internal sabotage and attack (Offensive Advantage Action)

Attack: 2 (:outer-attack) / 2 (:middle-attack) / 2 (:inner-attack) - Standard Formation

  • Offensive Advantage (ramming)
  • Off balance
  • Lost 2 effectiveness levels
))

((OOC: The boarding party thing should probably be a special manoeuvre as well, but I decided not to add more new rules in this combat this turn, so for the moment it is merely fluff.))

Ground Battle

With the Meritonian fleet now focussed on defending the hive clusters as much as possible, the ground battle continued with casualties on both sides. The direction of the battle remained unclear - it was far too chaotic. But whomever was winning... the battle would not last too much longer.

((OOC: This took me a bit more time than I had expected. I shall finish the rest of the fleet battles tomorrow.))

"This is princess Shebi to admiral Haelstein. Execute your shielding maneuvre, we will draw their fire.", she replied after admiral Haelstein informed her of the option.

Ajava thoughtfully looked at the hologram miniature version of the battle. Ariana's message reached her just as she had decided on a stratagem.

"This is princess Shebi to padawan Ariana Danacia aboard the Sword of the Stars. Glad you could make it, Danacia. The Komès fleet is going in to shield the hive clusters. I will draw the Mandalorian fire to my fleet by executing multiple bombing runs on their shields' weak points. Please follow up with capital ship fire."

Ajava ordered the fleet's corvettes to provide cover for the veolian bomber wings. She deliberately kept the fleet in skirmish formation, knowing that this would offer the Mandalorians an opportunity to strike that they couldn't pass up in their current situation.

As the corvettes lined up in front of the bombers, Ajava use her Jedi training to ensure that every gunner and pilot knew where to strike.

Ariana responded to Shebi Ajava with a short reply. "I have looked at the new intel and will direct our capital ship fire into the weak spot that your bombers create."

"Understood Princess, we'll be ready" and with that the connection closed as the Admiral and his chief engineer started with their final preparations. It would take some time and it would come at a cost, but the Admiral believed that destroying the Mandalorian fleets could turn the tides in the ground fight as well.

While his engineers worked to modify the shield emitters and make the final calculations on shield strength and field stresses, the Admiral begun to recall most of his cruisers and repositioned them in to secure sufficient coverage over the Azaryan Hive clusters. They would probably not succeed in preventing all damage, but the Admiral was confident that they would be able to shield most of it. Part of their fighter escorts were recalled as well, and they would run interference as well, taking out larger pieces of falling debris.

As soon as all preparations had been completed, the fleet reconfigured their shield emitters to match the new configurations, slowly covering large parts of the Hive cluster under the protective umbrella of their combined shield power. They would not be able to maintain the shield very long, but for now it should be enough to offer the clusters some measure of protection against the larger debris.

((Combat, round 5: removing defensive advantage Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943) , extending shielding to cover hive cluster ((Check: 6 = 2 Fleet outer defence + 2 Standard Outer Defence + 2 Fleet Inner Attack -- fighters running interference))))

The combined fire of the Praetorian and Veolian fleet caused significant damage to the Briikase Bes'laar, which lost another effectiveness level, causing it to become significantly less effective in battle.

Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943)

Holding position above the Hive Clusters, the Mandalorians fired their large particle cannons at the First Shebi Fleet, large explosions from the impact visible from the surface!

Kandosii (MF 944)

No longer off balance, the Kandosii saboteurs continued to strike in the belly of the Praetorian vessels, but they were mostly contained to causing minor annoyances rather than any serious harm. The fleet itself however moved away from the Praetorians and dove into the planets atmosphere, actually seeming to be landing on the worlds surface, near the Hive cities where the other Mandalorian fleet was holding position.

When Ariana noticed that the Briikase Bes'laar was not very persistent and targeted the Veolian fleet again it was clear that her fleet now has the advantage. "It is time to press our advantage and destroy those particle cannons. Princess Shebi we will go for a full assault, recover your fleet if possible.

Admiral Haelstein protect the city from the landing troups."

The Praetorian Primary Fleet opened a complete assault with multiple bombing squadrons that battered the shielding of the Mandalorian capital ships directly over the particle cannons. The bombers were protected by a swarm of fighters that started to move through the enemy fleet and when the shields were weakened the Centurion class capital ships fired multiple salvos with their forward cannons and started swarming torpedoes directed at the lower bays decimating most of the particle cannons.

WIth the shielding manoeuvre successful, most of the hive cluster were shielded from falling debris. The cost was great however as Mandalorian troops now pushed heavily into the city, and without the support of the fleet, the Azaryan weren't able to offer much resistance. The sad result were a number of explosion and many civilian casualties.

"Understood, we will focus our efforts against the ground forces once more."

The admiral responded to the call by yet another Jedi, and focussed his attention back on defending the city. Power was diverted from most of the cruiser's shield back to the weaponry and the fighters resumed their duties in bombing the Mandalorian ground forces. They pushed hard in order the halt the Mandalorian advance and punished those that had overextended, while bombers ran havoc amongst the Mandalorian supplylines once more, in an effort inflict as much damage as possible.

Because of this change in priority and the reassignment of most of the cruisers to fight off the Mandalorian ground forces, the remaining cruisers struggled maintain the shields strength over the hive clusters, the power requirements were so huge that the engineer staff started to complain to their superiors, if they did nothing the cruisers would soon be grounded with power to operate anything else then backup system.

Ship captains in turn contacted Admiral Haelstein and his senior staff, which saw themselves faced with a choice: give up the shield and risk mass destructing from space debris, maintain the shield and watch more Azaryan civilians die, or risk a few cruisers to protect the hive cluster as much as possible and still pack enough of a punch to fight off the Mandalorian ground assault. The Admiral made his choice swiftly and decisively, for now the cruisers would maintain the shield at full power and cut back on all non essential systems including life-support, while his chief engineer looked for ways to get more power to those ship. If needed be they'd set the cruisers down and hook them up to the city's power grid.

"This Admiral Haelstein calling the Sword of the Stars and the Invincible Fury of the Dawn. Jedi, we have reassigned most of our assets here to fight of the Mandalorian troops, without them many more Azaryans might die. This does mean however that while we should still be able to maintain the same shield strength our ability to do so will be dramatically shortened.

If we cannot redeploy or find other suitable sources of power, such as the city's power grid, we should run out within several hours. When that happens, the city will no longer be protected from any debris from out of space, all I can do then is literally shield it with my ships. We'll do what we can here, Haelstein out."

The combined attack of the Union fleets was brutal, and both Mandalorian fleets lost another effectiveness level! Things weren't going well for them.

Taking heavy damage, the Mandalorian fleet took up defensive positions, using their fighters to create a screen protecting the bigger vessels. It seemed the opposite of the Veolian tactic as the Mandalorians were far more willing to sacrifice their warriors, it seemed. As they did, the fleet as a whole moved to defend the Kandosii fleet.

The damaged Kandosii fleet had chosen its positions well as Mandalorian warriors retreated from the Hive cities and into the landing ships of the fleet. The retreat was exceptionally well executed with ships landing just as Mandalorians ran out of the hives, picking them up in seconds before flying off again to pick up more people elsewhere.

From up above, it was like a swarm of ants, going so fast and over and under one another that it was almost impossible to keep track of individual ships. This lent some defensive advantage to the fleet as the fast moving targets were hard to hit.

However, the organization of all of this took a lot of effort, and the fleet was unable to attack while it was doing this.

((Combat, round 7: Not attacking to get 2 actions. First is non-combat: picking up the land forces. Second is a defensive Direct Combat Action for +2/+0/+0 (dodging with their ships while hopping to pick everyone up)

  • Offensive Advantage (ramming)
  • Off balance
  • Lost 3 effectiveness levels

Ground Battle

Mandalorian forces were withdrawing from the battle. Seemingly taking everything of value with them as they did... bloody pirates.

Praetorian Primary Fleet

The Praetorian Fleet continued to destroy ships in the Briikase Bes'laar fleet.

"We have received intelligence from the Ministry of Defence. All ships recalibrate your targeting systems to aim for the described weak spots in their shield configuration."

Ariana was quiet for a moment and finally said: "They should have left while they still had a chance. Retrieving their troops now is suicide. Fire at will. Finish them!"

The Praetorian Primary Fleet now moved for maximum damage on the Mandalorian fleets, destroying every ship in their path.

During the clash several Praetorian Destroyer launched their boarding crews. Although the boarding platforms are nothing more than a hull filled with mechanized infantry, they seemed to be very effective.

The boarding platforms flew straight into the enemy capital ships but before hitting they launched all the small short range boarding ships that were on board. The small ships swarmed the capital ships while the empty hull rammed a hole into it to create an entrance.

While several command ships were being boarded by Praetorian boarding squadrons the rest of the fleet quickly destroyed all the supporting ships around them.

First Shebi Fleet

While regrouping Ajava received the intelligence report from the ministry. On top of that, she had just received word that the Veolian Imperial Fleet jumped into the sector, and was joining the battle. "This is fleet admiral Shebi to the Veolian Imperial Fleet. Be adviced, enemy forces will most likely attempt to disengage. Prepare for interception of smaller enemy fleet.", she quickly informed them.

She orders her own fleet to continue the long-range strike on the Kandosii vessels, as she moves her fleet to block most of the atmospheric exit trajectories of the larger Mandalorian fleet, forces them to flee past both the veolian and the praetorian fleets before they can jump.

((Combat, round 7: Attacking Kandosii (MF 944), Offensive Advantage: Moving to prevent the Briikase Bes'laar (MF 943) from clean disengage ((Check: 6 = 2 Fleet Outer Attack + 1 Standard Formation + 2 Jedi + 1 Military Command -- ))

  • Offensive advantage (gained from atmospheric superiority strike)
  • Union-wide offensive bonus (intelligence boon)

((OOC: There is no rule for blocking clean exits, so I tried it as an offensive advantage.))

Veolian Imperial Fleet

Not yet in range of the battle, the veolian imperial fleet prepares to pursue any routing enemy fleets.

((OOC: Praetorian Primary Fleet

Deploying troops to board is a fine action ^_^ You easily outclass the Mandalorian defences so your action is approved.

First Shebi Fleet

You cannot stop an enemy from disengaging as far as I understand the rule. I'm also not sure how it works with predicting the enemies actions (even though the prediction here is easy to make) after the opponent already posted their actions. However, that's semantics. I will allow it as a manoeuvre to make your attack more effective by intercepting the retreat. Your check makes it easy for the weaker Kandosii fleet, so approved.))

With the benefit of the intelligence provided by the Union, the attacks on the Mandalorian fleets were especially effective, with a cloud of explosions surrounding what was left of their ships.

The destruction was more than enough to knock the Mandalorian fleets another level, leaving them disabled as far as the battle was concerned.

Not surprisingly, with their troops on board (and more than a few Praetorian attackers), the Mandalorian fleets began to disengage to withdraw, boosting their defences to get away!

((OOC: Both Mandalorian fleets are disabled. I will therefore not post an action beyond saying they are disengaging. The Mandalorian fleets are moving towards Sector 9 -3.))

((OOC: Erm... But the battle isn't over yet? The Disengage/Retreat maneuvre takes time: Turns N, N+1 and N+2....

In Turn N you execute the Disengage maneuvre. This puts your fleet at +2 defence and you can't attack.
In Turn N+1 you execute the Retreat maneuvre. This puts your fleet at +2 defence and you can't attack, and next to that you can take a Move action.
In Turn N+2 your move is completed, and you have sucesfully retreated.

So either a) the Mandalorians have a ST-fiat escape power, or b) we can destroy them if we can get over their defenses in this turn and the next! I understand that this takes time, but please, don't take away our cool victory and the total destruction of the Mandalorian fleets by ST fiat o_O))

((OOC: We discussed the issue with Mercury, and detected a bug in the Military Rules with regards to how Effectiveness Levels are interpreted. We fixed the bug -- Disengage/Retreat is a 2-turn cycle, but a fleet needs to be damaged one more time after it has lost all effectiveness levels before it is completely destroyed.))

Noticing that the Mandalorian Fleet was no longer fighting back the Praetorian primary fleet switched strategies one last time. The Praetorian primary fleet singled out one Mandalorian command ship and launched another wave of boarding platforms.

The entire Praetorian fleet surrounded the single command ship and its support vessels and let the rest of the fleet go. They destroyed all the support vessels except for one cruiser and one frigate which were boarded as well.

The boarding crews targeted the engines of the capital ships to make sure that they were not leaving with the rest of the fleet. After disabling the engines and the hyper-drive they continued moving towards the bridge.

Ariana Danacia herself joined the last wave of boarding crews and helped capturing the command ship.

The Veolian and Praetorian fleets continued to rain fire down on the retreating Mandalorian vessels, causing significant damage, while the Praetorian fleet moved to capture a command vessel.

Disabling the engines and hyperdrive, the vessel was soon dead in the water, but as Ariana began to board with the last wave, the team breaching the enemy bridge gave warning!

"They set all the missiles to blow!!"

Rather than let their command ship be captured, a self destruct had been activated that would trigger all the ships bombs at once!

((OOC: Clarification: the bombs have not yet gone off. They are set to blow however!))

The first shebi fleet busied itself with destroying retreating mandalorian vessels.

Veolian Imperial Fleet

The veolian imperial fleet, carrying the Shebi Vyuha Legion prepared to land on Nest to deploy the army to assist with the ground battle with any remaining Mandalorian forces.

((OOC: I am aware that there are no rules for landing/assisting yet -- but as I understood it, a lot of mandalorian forces were extracted already, so this is mostly a fluff thing. Of course, the Azaryans, or other union members, might have problems with the Veolians deploying a complete legion on Nest ^_^

I'll make a news post if the action is approved.))
