"Our seeming alliance was forged on the base of a common enemy: The Mandalorians. The alliance didn't go any further than that though. The deal was that they would help when the Mandalorians would attack us, and we would help them when the Mandalorians would attack the Echani. At this moment we are no longer being sieged by the Mandalorians, thus the Echani don't have to help us. We haven't heard anything from the Echani, that they are under attack, so we don't have to help them according to our deal.

The ministry of defence currently is thinking of retreating and letting the Mandalorians and the Echani sort it out."

"There are two incapacitated Mandalorian fleets roaming alongside the border of the Core Hegemony. We are currently sending Union fleets to intercept them and finish them. Our estimation is that the Core Hegemony will not interfere as our fleets pose no threat to them."
