[Hiocan Society]

Inside the Hiocan Embassy the special office for the 1st Intergalactic Science Conference office is now open. The office is spacious and in the middle there are comfortable sofas, small tables, stands with information folders and a bar with drinks and food. To the left and right are multiple counters with employees behind them ready to help you.

“Welcome to the 1st Intergalactic Science Conference office,

The 1st Intergalactic Science Conference starts the 7th of January. Scientists from all over the Union are invited to Hio. In the brand new conference centre there will be various presentations on the natural sciences the first five days and on the final 6th day great speakers from all over the Union like Fecta Legin are heard. With this conference we want to share knowledge with other factions as to improve the collaboration and together developed new technologies.

You can apply here as visitor or speaker. As visitor please sign in by giving your name and faction. For speaker we need the subject, title of your presentation and a summary. We will look into the schedule and see if and when it fits, we will let you know as soon as possible. Also let us know what your wishes and need are for accommodation so we can make arrangements for you; we have special apartments for every specie. Here is a folder with a short overview.”

The folder contains the program, a map of the location and the accommodation as well a short introduction on the Hiocan culture.

Program
During the conference parallel sessions are held each day on different subject of each field.

Astronomy: 1st day: Stellar astronomy, 2nd day: Planetary science, 3rd day: Galactic science , 4th day: Hyperspace science and 5th day: Space science

Biology: 1st day: Cell biology, 2nd day: Physiology, 3rd day: Genetics, 4th day: Ecology and 5th day: Clinical medicine

Chemistry: 1st day: Organic chemistry, 2nd day: Inorganic chemistry, 3rd day: Physical chemistry, 4th day: Subatomic chemistry and 5th day: Chemical engineering

Physics: 1st day: Mechanics, 2nd day: Thermodynamics, 3rd day: Electromagnetism, 4th day: Quantum physics and 5th day: Exotic field theory

Material science: 1st day: Bio-materials, 2nd day: Electronic and magnetic materials, 3rd day: Material characterization, 4th day: Surface science and catalysis and 5th day: Material engineering

Planetary science: 1st day: Geology, 2nd day: Soil science, 3rd day: Oceanography and hydrology, 4th day: Atmospheric science and 5th day: Terraformation

6th day Intergalactic science

The conference is about to start and the office seem working hard to get everything ready. Suddenly a clear high bell is rang and there is an announcement.

"This office will close soon, if you want to participate please this is your last chance to sign up."
