• It seems I failed to correctly check your turn report from 222 where I missed that you had two Holonet Relay Upgrade Station (0-01101-1-00100-100001 and 0-01101-1-00100-100010) that were in exactly the same state as in 221, despite 0-01101-1-00100-100001 being completed in 221. Now, in this turn you suddenly claim a completion on 0-01101-1-00100-100100 but you only put 45 into it, and you abandon the work on 0-01101-1-00100-100010 throwing away the resources invested in it.
  
  Even though you are unintentionally doing your best to confuse turn auditors with your naming scheme (I can't even memorize someone's phone number, let alone an arbitrary sequence of ones and zeros), I feel that it is my responsibility to catch such things. So I would like to apologize for approving your previous turn report. I'm guessing you caught the error and tried to correct it this turn. If you did, you did so without an OOC note to the auditors explaining the situation, so I have to Fail this report. This type of error has happened several times already in earlier turns. It leaves me with three options:

1. I can re-open the old turn, force a re-check by the auditor of my edited turn report (which cannot be done accurately anyway since people already changed their trades) and make everyone wait for the old turn to be closed
2. I can make an extensive explanation of renumbering of holonet relay construction which is going to be complicated to read, and needs to be checked between this turn report and the previous one
3. I can simply fix it in the new turn report and pretend it all is well, since it doesn't really change that fact that -a- new holonet relay station was constructed partially and is now being completed

Each time, I've elected for the third option, since it causes the least amount of work for the turn auditors.

I understand why you pick option 3. And with the inforation that this was indeed done to fix an error, I fully agree that -a- new holonet relay station was built regardless of how it is called, and I'm not challenging that. I meant recheck this turn report ~_~

Thing is, I can't always see the difference between a silent fix and a mistake. In this case, it seemed it was a fix. But it might also have been that you actually forgot to copy the old project line... A simple "Previous report contained a copy-past error, I fixed the holonet relay numbers in this one" is fine and would have done the job.

Also, we keep the turn reports for a reason, that is so that we have a record so we can dig back into history of things go awry. Having a short note that a previous report contains an error makes this much easier.

Anyway, now that we have had this exchange, this will serve as the small note for this turn :P
