Done with being Chancellor

Since not all of you are aware of this I think it is best if I explain the situation OOC. 20 weeks ago I started running for Chancellor for the OOC reason that we did not want another NPC cabinet. The reasoning behind this is that Mercury is already busy with all the storylines which leaves little time for actively running a cabinet.
Being Chancellor only frustrated me most of the time and with the war and all the commotion around it their have not been any benefits. I am sick of committing time to pointless discussions in the senate where all that you can do as Chancellor is wrong. As I see it there are no benefits for being Chancellor, only frustrations from being it.
I did not open any vote anymore since I am simply done being Chancellor. The Influence points might give some satisfaction to being in the cabinet but that will be too little too late for me. I will not be doing any active politics anymore on this front and I will accept my vote back.

I am sorry you had a bad experience as Chancellor, Chriz.
I certainly recognise some of the incoming mud for the role of Chancellor, having gone through similar problems myself with Chancellor Bolv'ar at the time.
How would you suggest we improve the situation for future Chancellors?
