Senator Nehket Aeka felt a little apprehensive. She did not have a lot of information on the newest member of the Union. She would prefer to meet their Senator in person and get to know him before breaching a difficult subject, but she did not have the time to arrange for such things.

She motioned for her aide to set up the connection.

"Hello prince Byrnison, I'd hoped that you have some time to discuss a proposal with me. As you may already know, the planet Unity is currently in the process of being terraformed. Unfortunately, this is a long and arduous process hindered by all manner of technical and fundamental problems.

The Veolian Commonwealth wishes to change this situation. Since promises made when announcing a candidacy for Chancellor are binding and chancellor Acethoo promised to subsidy research on terraformation, we wish to propose that the terraformation of Unity becomes the spearpoint of this subsidy. Not only will this bind together the different members of the Union in a single purpose, it will also improve the terraformation capabilities of the Union with great leaps and bounds. As I see it, you stand to gain much from advanced terraformation technologies -- near all of the planetary bodies in your solar system are fit for terraformation.

Our proposal is already backed by the our long allies the Praetorian Empire, the Unified Republic of Darya, the Sundarian Federation and the Chancellor herself. We would like for you to support this proposal as well. It is important for the small economies to band together in such matters."

You are correct on the fact that our planets are candidates for terraformation. The thought had crossed our minds already. Unfortunately Our Kingdoms are not capable of supporting a terraformation project on there own yet.
Your proposal for the terraformation of Union intrigues us, this project could give our people hope again. We dream about roaming our planets outside the bio-domes without breathing masks.
You have the support of our Kingdom, The Enlightened Bears will support you on this matter. I will talk with the other kingdoms and try to get there support as well.
Let me get back to you within a few days with the results."

I'm not sure how to reply to this -- did you intend for your senator to not accept the incoming call and reply to the left 'holomail' through a mail-like message? Or is this a misunderstanding, and did you interpret the first post as a mail-like message?))
