The Astai Republic has noted that the Veolian Commonwealth is researching quite a few technologies that are of shared interest lately. We are sending this message in general so as to not bother the chancellor to much given her current wartime preoccupations.

The specific technologies we mean are the purchase or aid in research of Dark Energy Expansion Deceleration and Non-Baryonic Production Processes of the blue power technologies and we would like to purchase the Genetic Filtering technology. We would also like to make use of the Veolian expertise on Generalized Microclimate Integration when this is researched, though the prerequisite terraformation research may make it impractical for joint research.

Dear minister Atheos,

I have heard back from the proprietors of the Genetic Filtering technology, GumaLabs. Though I would like to inform you that the prenatal screening technology is considered very controversial in the Veolian Commonwealth. Openly endorsing this technology on a large scale might put tension on our diplomatic relations.

GumaLabs is willing to share their technology for 1000 if the Astai Republic guarantees that it will not share the technology with other parties, and if the Astai Republic agrees to allow GumaLabs to co-develop any technological research that is based upon their Genetic Filtering work.

Of course, you will not have to deal with this smaller corporate entity, as your agreement will be with the Veolian Commonwealth directly. I did, however, feel the need to make clear that the Veolian Commonwealth as a whole is not the original developer, nor a strong supporter, of this technology.

As to the two cutting-edge physics based technolgies, we are currently in the process of acquiring the necessary materials for their implementation. The moment we have secured these trade deals, we will start quotations on these new technologies.

We believe that once we have the technology we can institute a successful opt-in program based around advertising. Individuals subjected to the filtering can then have additional benefits bestowed upon them, increasing the allure of the program and the productivity of the republic.

• Non-Baryonic Production Processes at a price of 3000
• The Astai Republic may not transfer these technologies to a third party before 350

These terms are negotiable, if you wish to discuss alternative compensation or less restrictive transfer terms.
