Dear Lanadi,
Let me start by thanking you for taking the time to help our combined interests, I very much appreciate it.
As for the current proposal:
While I am pleased with the reduced cost for the technology and the prohibition on sharing the technology, I must say I'm a little surprised by the difficulty House Iaat seems to have with the prospects this offers.
I've spoken with Miss Alexandra Koniova, as she recalls Duke Iaat Vaypar is a reasonable man, so I believe that a good deal should indeed be possible. However with regards to selling shares, Miss Koniova was a little less forthcoming. I suspect that the position of her Family on that matter hasn't changed. She was however willing to discuss terms with regards to expanding the corporate facilities to our settlement.
Taking that into consideration, we would need to secure corporate rights for both the DVF Organics and Daryatech Consortium. Given the current situation that House Iaat holds ownership of these rights, I'm sure we can reach an arrangement that is both suitable to our needs, and prevents the necessity of new partners to enter the Corporate Organics Market. I'm sure that the Duke is capable of seeing the benefits of this, since it would eventually ensure the corporate expansion by 6 zones each.
I would be happy to discuss this option in further detail in person, perhaps over a nice dinner?
Yours sincerely,
Daphne
