"Dear Senator Danar Tassar,

As you already know, the current laws do not allow a Minor World to take up the responsibilities of a Core World. I am of the opinion that all all factions within the Union should be able to reach their fullest potential, up to and including a position in cabinet.

As only Core Worlds can propose new laws, or amendments to current laws, this leaves the Minor Worlds in a difficult position. A lot of Inner worlds pay careful attention to their economies, and care less for those that do no contribute taxes to the Union. This makes it difficult for Teprogrenaian Consensus to pressure them into action on this topic.

The Veolian Commonwealth, being a Core World, is willing to sponsor a change in the laws, allowing Minor Worlds to take up the responsibilities of a running a Ministry. Unfortunately, this requires us to overcome significant hurdles, as the current cabinet will not be unanimously positive on this matter.

Because of this, we propose the following: In exchange for our efforts on proposing said law, we would see your vote in the upcoming chancellor election go to a candidate of our choosing.

"Your idea's look promising, and I do approve of the idea of more equal rights for the members of the Union. However I cannot promise to vote on a candidate of your choosing, as I already have promised to vote Bolv'ar if he showed himself to be the better candidate.

And as there are only two candidates at the moment, our vote will automatically go to Acehtoo when Bolv'ar did not prove to be better.

However, I am sure that in case our vote does not goes to the candidate you like, we can still make another arrangement."

I do think that Bolv'ar is the better candidate this time. He understands the importance of the military, and has shown to be level-headed and fair. Acehtoo on the other hand, remains focussed on expanding the Union, without regard for the consequences of growing near the territories of other super powers.
