As you have probably heard the first Intergalactic Science Conference will be held within half a year. We invite all scientists and other interested people to come to Hio. We would like to share our knowledge with other factions so we can work together in developing new technologies. Therefore we would appreciate it if you could send the invitation to various scientific institutes within your faction.

To make this conference a success we need your help. We would like to get some more information about your culture and technology. With this we hope to get a better understanding so we can learn from each other. Enclosed you find the invitation with all the information on the conference and some basic information about the Hiocan Society.

The Veolian Commonwealth is interested in sending a delegation consisting of top scientists in an official capacity, as well as passing on the message to the individual institutions and research facilities on Mirda.

We would like some extra information about the following the focus of the conference. As we gather from the information you sent us, this conference has a very broad range of subjects on the menu. We would like to know whether topic focused groups, tracks and workshops will be part of the programme.

The Veolian Commonwealth has a strong focus on scientific development, with a focus in genetics, bioengineering, hyperspace technologies and force research. We would therefore be most interested in tracks pertaining to these topics, though we estimate that a number upwards of 3000 veolian applications to participate can be expected.

We have spread the invitation amongst our people, and have already received answers from some parties who are willing to join.

Our spokesman of philosophy and science, Fecta Legin, likes to share how to let a consensus work in groups of billions of people.

Our scientists are also willing to share the theories of moving moon-sized objects through space.

Because the goal of the conference is to get a better understanding, we are unsure whether the second subject fits within the expectations or not. Please let us know your opinion of the second subject.

Thank you for your quick reply. The program can be found 1st Intergalactic Science Conference. There will be various presentations during the day and some workshops during the evening. We are still busy with organizing and more details will be revealed once they have been set.

We would be glad if you could give presentations on genetics and hyperspace technology. If you would be so kind as to give more details about the research, we can fill it in our program. With bio-engineering we would like to know the exact focuses to determine to which subject it would fit best. Unfortunately, force research is no topic during the conference.

We know the importance of the work of Fecta Legin, unfortunately consensus work is a social science and this is a natural science conference. But we will arrange something for specials guests from various factions.

We would share some of our knowledge on cybernetics and will provide information on the Cataclysm of Partesia so we can debate possible causes with new insights from outside the STF.
