"Esteemed senator Acehtoo,

During the previous elections, I promised you that the Veolian Commonwealth would only support Bolv'ar's war-minded candidacy for the shortest required period. Today, I make good on my promise.

We were forced to re-evaluate our opinion of his leadership. It seems that, although chancellor Bolv'ar has the best in mind, he does not take as much care with the more day-to-day duties of a chancellor. As of yet, he has done little to actually protect Union. And, finally, he seems intent on doing everything himself, something which has not been associated with great leadership in the past. Because we supported his candidacy last election, the Veolian Commonwealth feels partly responsible for the current situation of sloppy leadership. We wish to rectify the situation.

I plan to run for chancellor, and would very much like your support in this endeavour. I hope to improve cooperation within Union, while steering clear of reductions of sovereignty. I also believe that a good leader is supported by great advisers and ministers. Because of your obvious experience as a diplomat and insight into the relations between the different superpowers, I hope that you, as my second running mate, will advice me on the selection of the Minister of Defence and the Minister of Justice.

Should you feel the need to talk such matters over with me before agreeing, I would be happy to visit the Miomanian embassies in person.

Yours sincerely,

Senator Nehket Aeka"

"Senator,

I have discussed this with my friends in the Holy Heimgolean Theocracy and the Divine Fiefdom of Highmons and we have decided we are interested in accepting. The only questions that we would like answered before we commit is who you envision for the other two ministerial posts and who is your first running mate.

Based on your answers we are interested in accepting your proposal.

Senator,

I am glad that you do not hold my previous lack of support for your candidacy over Bolv'ar's against me.

Though they have a greatly differing point of view no the use of cybernetics and the way governments should run their world, we have asked the Stellarian Triad Federation to be our first running mate.

During our recent talks with the other prospective ministers, it became clear that we are able to accomodate a larger selection of options for you and your allies. Though we can not offer you more than two ministries, the options have now widened to Justice, Defence and Foreign Affairs.

I can not yet give you a final assignment of cabinet. I can, however, show you the current preferences:

Justice: Praetorian Empire / Miomanian Advice
Defence: Stellarian Triad Federation / Miomanian Advice
Commerce: Stellarian Triad Federation / Praetorian Empire
Foreign Affiars: Praetorian Empire / Miomanian Advice
Finance: Veolian Commonwealth

Should any of our current allies seem unsuited to you, I ask you to inform me of this so a compromise can be found instead of declining my offer.

Yours sincerely,
Senator Nehket Aeka

Senator,

Having no negative experiences with their nation, we have no problem running with the Stellarian Triad Federation and the Praetorian Empire has always held reasonable relationships with us as well.

It is our belief we can best advise your nation in regards to matters of Foreign Affairs and Justice. We look forward to a positive and fruitful cooperation.

Would it be prudent to meet with the other parties involved to discuss campaign strategy and plans for the next electoral period?

Senator,

Can I assume that you shall personally take on the mantle of Minister of Foreign affairs?

I agree that it would be useful to have a face to face meeting of all involved parties. I shall arrange this as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Senator Nehket Aeka
