Rules Change: Jedi Specialistion tweaks: skill usage and experience cost
This rules change contains all notes on the jedi specialisation tweaks as discussed during the write-a-thon, and detailed in the Jedi Specialisation thread.
First, while not really a rules change, instead of having a 'Trained only' flag on a skill, the skills are now divided into basic skills and specialist skills. Basic skills are the old 'Trained only: no' skills, while specialist skills are the old 'Trained only: yes' skills. So, from now on skills that can only be used of you have training are called specialist skills.

Please present a clear change request, instead of only the changes and leaving those that check your request to puzzle out all the smart things you did. The easiest to check is a complete listing of the your new progression, but if you only change a single thing, just naming that is good enough.

Experience costs and starting skills
We have changed the experience costs of of skills and attributes, and updated the amount of starting skills:
- Skill experience cost becomes 1

Notes for retro-active change requests:
- You must keep your character's progression valid throughout their retro-active career!
- Skills and attributes are still restricted to their normal maximums: Attributes have a maximum of 5 or Force Level (whichever is higher), Skill have a maximum of Force Level.
- Force levels are still only gained for each spent 10
and 3 missions, so make sure that you spend enough
at the lower levels to actually get more. - Don't forget the 3 extra starting skills.
- An easy trick is to buy an additional skill or attribute for every skill or attribute already in your progression, this makes sure you have spent enough
before the next force level without difficult recalculations. - If you use the 'new style progression' (everyone except Nathan does) you can simply copy-paste your spendings to the forum and update it there. If you indicate new entries, the people that check your request will love you ^_^

Right.. I was worried that would be a problem but the rework was already kinda complex that I did not take this into account.
The end result of my character is valid, I will move some skill increases to the top and move those attribute increases down to make it a valid build path.
However this rework is kinda time consuming which means it might take another week for me to have the time to rework the whole coloring schema and progression order.

The maximum rating for Skills is (Force Level), so you are not allowed to raise Mechanical Engineer to rank 5 while your Force Level is 4. Retroactive changes to your character must take into account all current rules and produce a valid character.
You are right, I totally did not take that rule into account for skills T.T I have changed it. (Sadly the skill acquisition order becomes more different from how I originally claimed them, but that cannot be helped I guess.)

- You need to list what extra starting skill you want and the resulting level of THAT PARTICULAR skill. You can't ask for a +1 Programming skill and use that as Stealth 4, especially since you don't have the Stealth skill to begin with.

Please do not post with IC accounts in OOC forums! Keeping the separation between IC and OOC is relevant for certain tools, and it helps with discussion of things that happened IC. I know that this is mostly harmless here, but I want to prevent people from getting in the habit. Please, switch to your IC account when posting IC, and use your OOC account for all other things.
