Dragonmaster352 - Storyteller
I thought it might be a good idea to build a wall here (and I made the Slave Rebellion pay for it). That way we have somewhere to throw ideas again and see what sticks. Basically post ideas of new things we could add to FWURG 2.0 or maybe even things we could remove from the current system when we transition. An idea spam, no need to work things out or even be realistic. We can pick which ideas we like and which we don't when we start actual design and start thinking about how we implement them once they are chosen.
To that effect, here are a few I had (these act both as example and actual idea):
- Society Traits: some of the Racial Characteristics and I believe some system traits (though not sure about these) are more features of a Society then a Race or planet/system, in my opinion. I think it would be cool if you could select these when creating a faction, similar to racial characteristics, and that they would have some kind of benefit/disadvantage. A few possible examples: High Tech; Massive Population; Militaristic; Slavery; Digital; Union Member.
- Minion Worlds: Most Union Members are massive economic and political powerhouses. With a galaxy full of planets and life it seems only natural for such worlds to maintain a few small worlds, that aren't eligible for Union Membership, on the payroll to help them do those little things they can't be seen doing but are absolutely necessary to keep the galaxy spinning.
- Cat Video Vault: Lets be realistic here. Every Union member needs a vault on their world to store their (holo)video clips of cats in boxes.

- Slower Economy: Making economic growth slower and therefore easier for the roleplay to stay in pace with the economy.
