I have added the rings of defence icons to the wiki (demo on Brend's Icon page).

I have tried to find a way to add them to the forum, but I seem unable to do so?

@Mercury: Can you add the following icons to the forum:
capital-ships,
outer-attack,
outer-offence,
middle-attack,
middle-offence,
inner-attack,
inner-offence,
outer-defence,
middle-defence,
inner-defence?

If you can see the above seven icons and the additional three for the double names, you know the icons have been added!

On a not very relevant but related note: the mouse over text on the Wiki version for all ring icons is incorrectly capitalized. See all the other icons for reference. I have used the correct title case for the forum.

The Capital Ships however have been correctly capitalized, which makes sense.

Will fix. RemcoSwenker correctly noted that the ring of attack/defence icons are actually rather useless, as they don't play well on the wiki (colours clash with table backgrounds and such). On the forum the more streamlined 1/2/2 should be used, and icons only detract from the readability.

So we might actually want to remove the at some later point in time... Though maybe we can leave them for now, or re-order them down, or hide them in the FWURG Icons box but have the BBCode in place (this last option is a default feature of the forum it seems).
