hey guys

until about an hour ago I couldn't reach the fwurg website. it started at around midnight today.

anyone have the same problem? or did it go wrong on my end?

since there was no announcement I thought I'dd let you guys know.

I had the sam problem of not being able to reach FWURG during the day today. ill as your brother later today when i see hem if he did that.

Yes, FWURG was down for the day since yesterday evening

mercury told me he had to restart the server today because it was borked

That's correct. Somewhere between midnight and 0100 the virtual machine on which Fwurg is hosted crashed for an as of yet undetermined reason. This resulted in Fwurg being down. I was already in bed when it happened and did not learn of this until 1300 or so today. At around 1530 I used my afternoon break at work to race home, restart the server and race back to work. Since then the server has functioned normally so without further problems I'm going to presume this problem won't be returning.
