some questions about system building

hello everyone,
I just recently registered and started building my system. And while building I encountered some strange things in the text.
at step 5:
is this ((atmosphere or ocean) and goldilocks orbit ) or (atmosphere or (ocean and goldilocks orbit))
at step 7:
in the text of the Frozen Oceans it says:
I never found where the bonus on rare elements would come from.
and when you take a trinary system with a full scale main sequence star, does the power income of orbits increase? Because it also increases if you have 2 stars in your system instead of one. but on the other hand, I think it would be overpowered.

Any planet that houses life must have either an atmosphere or an ocean and be in a Goldilocks orbit.

The planet loses its cold orbit ocean bonus to gasses and rare elements.

Hi,
Welcome to the game!
Now for your questions:
- Step 5 should be read as ((atmosphere or ocean) and goldilocks orbit).
- I'm not sure about the rare elements bonus. Don't think it exists anymore.... Admin should clarfiy this.
- Power is based on the main star (or binary star) in the system, so taking the trinary system special does not give any extra power output (except on the orbits around the trinary star, in some situations).
Hope this helps?

yes, it helped.
I thought it was something like that, but wanted to know it for sure.
Thanks.

Just wanted to confirm Brend's answers:
- Step 5 should be read as ((atmosphere or ocean) and goldilocks orbit) (as Brend said)
- The Rare elements mention is a leftover from an old version. I will correct this on the wiki.
- Taking the Trinary System special DOES provide extra power, because the orbit class increases. So if you place a Trinary star in a Goldilocks orbit, its moons count as being in Hot orbits and thus get power as if they were in a Hot orbit. Note that they all share in the power of the orbit of the Trinary star, so it is not actually as good as it seems. A Trinary Star in Hot orbit does not gain additional power.
Note that you cannot take the Trinary Star special unless you have a Binary System! This is listed in the 'applies to' field for the Trinary System.
Also: welcome!
EDIT: I have made the clarifications on the Wiki for Trinary Star and Frozen Ocean regarding their influence on the amount of Power a planet / orbit has.

I have some more question:
do Climates stack? Can I take high pressure 2 times, and have very high pressure, or do I need to make 2 different climates that do the same, like Monsoons and Wet Climate
and how does colonization within your own system work? How do you move people from a populated planet to an unpopulated one?

You cannot have the same climate feature twice (i.e. high pressure 2 times), but you can have two different climate features that have the same properties like Monsoons and Wet Climate. It'd be really wet though.
At this time, you cannot move population yet. For now, you have to consider carefully where you place your starting population
Regardless, you can construct zones on unpopulated planets (People taking the space-bus to work every day or something obscure like that ^_^)
That being said, at some point there will be rules on how to move populations around. It'll be costly though (moving even 100 million people tends to be a huge operation). They're just not done yet.
