I have a few questions on combined attacks for military fleets.
1. Are combined attack values calculated over the total attack values of the fleets (advantage actions and other bonuses, penalties included) or over the fleets base dots?
2. is it possible to combine attacks with a fleet and a planet? (within the same scope of combat)
3. is it possible to combine attack with a planet and a moon? (provided the moon is of the planet in question and thus within the scope of combat)

Although I do not have the final saying of this, the wiki is rather descriptive :). Although the military rules of the wiki are rather chaotic. Maybe people (I and Brend I am afraid :) ) should make it more logical.
This is what I know and found on the wiki:
This means that fleets orbiting a planet will be included in the combat as well. Important to keep in mind is that the defences of the entities are taken into account separately. This means that if your moon is being attacked, you take the defence of your moon, so the defence zone on your planet with 6
is no help to defend your moon.
On the same page is written under the parry mechanism title:
This means that the combined attacks of fleets are calculated after the modifiers. Important to know: fleets have fleet formations, don't forget! Else you might encounter nasty surprises.
So simply put:

So, attacking a moon will enter a combat scene with the moon, the planet it orbits, all other moons in orbit around that planet, and any other things in the same orbit.

Elmer has the right of it. All attacks against a single target are combined, regardless of source. Combination is done by taking the maximum rating per ring, after all modifiers have been applied to that ring.

thanks :)
I already was aware of the scope of combat facts, but I thought it wise to ask about things that where not specified on the wiki now rather than find out during combat.

I approve of people asking questions on the rules before the situation pops up.
