Hey guys I was wondering how I should read this:

Saber Swarm

When using no action besides attacking, you gain an additional +1 to Piercing, above and beyond the base +2 for this Special Manoeuvre.

(Slashing +○ / Cutting +○ / Piercing +●● | Dodging +○ / Blocking +○ / Deflecting +○)

Does this mean that I can only claim the extra +1 on piercing if I am not taking a DCA or Advantage action or does it mean that you can not do any non-combat actions in the same round?

In interpreted it as 'No DCA, Advantage or Non-combat action', that is: don't do anything that takes focus away from the immediate attack sequence.

Wait for Mercury's opinion though, he wrote the style.

It means no non-combat actions and no Direct Combat Actions or Advantage Actions either. The point is to get a bonus for sure rather than risk a check.
