Yeah another question on surveying and colonization.
How long does survey information stay available?
I want to know if you can survey a sector and then wait for a period of X
(X being a random positive number) before starting to construct whatever you surveyed for. Or if you must built it immediately after surveying.
Currently there is no specification for this on the rules pages. Of course it makes sense that if it stays available for a longer period it should be noted somewhere what was surveyed for and what kind of site.

The information stays around, once the site is found, it will remain there basically for ever.
I agree that we need to keep track of the surveyed sites. For now, the Turn Reports should offer a good record of what was surveyed where. If we have a spree of surveying, we might create a wiki page to keep track of the spots.
