"Human" Language?

All this time, I have been assuming that galactic basic started out as pidgin language that evolved over time to a full-fledged independent language. This makes sense given the history of intergalactic trading.
However, this leaves me in a bind with respect to the "native" language of the Core Hegemony. My character Tera Inogo lists Human as one of her languages, which makes sense given the plethora of other species-languages (Nautolan, Kaminoan, etc.).
Is this Human language the native language of the human-supremacist Core Hegemony? Or does the Human language not even exist, and is Galactic Basic the "native" language over there?

ehm... I think to stay in line with the cinematic approach of Star Wars, galactic basic and human are the same languages and the main language of the Core Hegemony is Galactic Basic
I like the cinematic argument ^_^
I'm fine regardless of the answer, I just wanted to do a setting-check so everyone can weigh in (especially STs I think). If we have a definite answer, we can update the wiki and rejoice.
