What happens when someone goes away for one or more weeks? Especially current trade deals for example, or the x months of Union grant?

When you cannot post for a turn, you temporarily become a Fringe World. Subsidies or running loans pause in these while you are away, provided you do not post turns in the meanwhile. As soon as you post a turn again, they apply again as normal.

While a Fringe World, your vote is not counted in any decisions the Union may make. Current trade deals continue at the level they are set (but do not grow to accommodate additional trade capacity, for example), unless the other player cancels them.
