Mass application for army
Hio - A lot of volunteers are applying for military service. Now war has been declared with the Slave Rebellion the Hiocans feel the need to make a contribution as during the war with the Mandalorians not much could be done. It seems that a lot of Hiocans feel connected to the Remunzians as their share various points of view.
"Nobody want sto be a slave, we understand that just like the Remunzians. But using diplomatic talks to get close and then start a war is not better than those Hutt slave traders, first being friendly and than turn you into a slave."

Unity City - Chancellor Dewa Lanadi just gave a press conference on Unity City.
"Citizens of the Union,
The Slave Rebellion has invaded our territories in an unprovoked and brutal attack against one of our most outspoken opponents of violent conflict: the Silver Forests of Remunzia. This unprovoked attack cannot be left unanswered, and the Union military is deploying as I speak.
Needless to say, the Union has declared war on the Slave Rebellion."

Veolian Commonwealth boosts weapons production
Kelwar - Several key players in the Veolian weapon industry have entered into cooperation to attract investments from the nobility and other interested parties to fund the construction of crystals processing platforms on Kelwar. The platforms are expected to become active in the following month.
It is expected that the weapons production capacity start to grow, allthough predictions on the actual output of weapons are only cautiously optimistic. Several independent industry experts have commented on the lack of crystals and several other raw materials necessary for the production process. They expect that trade deals will be required to actually bring the new weapons production facilities into action.

Rumours surround the chancellor's night out with lady Daphne
Unity City - In an unexpected intersection of Unity City social scenes, both the clubbing scene and the hallways of the senate are abuzz with rumours that the chancellor is in a close relationship with lady Daphne of the Sundarian Federation. Most rumours are based on the chancellor being spotted by several photographers leaving the Aqua Cantina together with lady Daphne of the Sundarian Federation.
Purportedly the pair was spotted earlier as lady Daphne, a sundarian noble well-known for enjoying the Unity City night life, posed for the press on the red carpet of the Aqua Cantina. Several guests and celebrity photographers claim to have seen the chancellor exit the same vehicle as lady Daphne, deftly avoiding attention as she entered the cantina.
The staff of the Aqua Cantina does not wish to comment, telling us only that "The Aqua Cantina values the privacy of its customers, and will not divulge any information unless ordered by a court of law." The spokesperson of the chancellor refused to comment on the situation.

The reason the ACA has done this is because the fairly high cost of weapons produced within ACA territory. These costs cause high prices when weapons are exported to other worlds, which damages the competitiveness of the ACA. To combat this the ACA is subsidising the export so the prices of weapons produced in their territory remain attractive for other worlds.

Serina - The Bluethread Financial Group has been fined for several hundred
by the Astrian Colonial Authority for having several of their holdings evade taxes to both sub-factions and the ACA itself.
Several sub-factions were locked in legal proceedings with the Bluethread Group over tax evasion, when evidence was revealed that strongly suggested the Bluethread Groups tax evasion went as far as the ACA. The ACA promptly got involved in the proceedings and launched a full investigation.

Heavy losses for the Union and the Hiocan Society as Slave Rebellion ships makes a suicide attack on Remunzia
Hio - A news report has just come in that the Veh Halitra fleet and Union Defence fleet 10 "Unity" are heavenly damaged. During the battle of Stellaria Argentum system the Slave Rebellion had an initial advantage but slowly and steadily the advanced Union fleets were making progress and with reinforcements coming in the Slave Rebellion were having a hard time. It seems that the Slave Rebellion has been using all means necessary in battle. They are sacrificing their own live for their course and also using the lives of the Remunzians. In a final attempt Slave Rebellion fleet 11 made a suicide run attack on Remunzia and UDF 10 and the Veh Halitra fleet caugth the attack to save the Remunzian civilian population.
What do citizens think of this:
"This is must be terrible for the Remunzian. They want harmony and peace and are now in the middle of a horrible war. I understand the determination of the Slave Rebellion to abolish slavery, but using the lives of innocent civilians of a planet you just befriend is too much.......... this makes me really mad. They have no respect for live.
My condolences to all the brave soldiers who died and their families."
