The Chancellor took up a position in the centre of the main Senate hall. She was soon flanked by the Minister of Foreign affairs, the Senator of Suma and the Senator of the Lifebringer Clans.

"Fellow Senators,

Many of us have heard of the harsh conditions in which the people in the territories controlled by the Slave Rebellion.

To ease the suffering of the civilian population, we propose to set up a sentienatarian expedition. The Ministers and Senators standing besides me have already given their support to this mission. We now ask the other members of the Union if they will do the same.

The expedition will build up resources from governmental as well as private parties to be transported to the aforementioned territories and people.

The Ministries have kindly stated it will donate the trade capacity necessary to transport the aid packages once this task is completed. To make our humanitarian mission a success, we need to, over the next few weeks, construct enough aid packages to fill the fleet.

We have set as a goal to process 10.000 (:food) and 10.000 (:healthcare) in total.

We hope that private parties will contribute a total of 500 (:food) and 500 (:healthcare), and that the six newest member worlds, since they have less industrial capacity, will be able to collectively contribute 1.000 (:food) and 1.000 (:healthcare). The older, more industrialised members of the Union would contribute the rest.

This total would be built up over turn 10, 11, 12 and 13, so for example an estimated 250 of each could be committed each turn, depending on circumstances. Naturally any resources committed above and beyond this amount would be greatly appreciated by the recipients of the aid.

To aid in accomplishing this ambitious goal, we also accept donations of (:organics) and (:rares) as well as industrial capacity to turn the latter two into (:food) and (:healthcare). The Miomanian Colonist will donate any transportation necessary to get the (:organics) and (:rares) to the factories for this goal.

Note that giving any contribution is not mandatory and there will be no reward (nor penalty) for assisting in this endeavour, beyond the gratitude of the recipients and the admiration of those who believe in helping those in need.

Thank you."

"The Veolian Commonwealth tries to spare it's environment by keeping the surplus production of goods to a minimum. However, we wish to pledge what little surplus we have to aid the peoples of the Slave Rebellion.

We will provide 210 (:organics) for the coming four weeks. We do not have the requisite facilities to process this donation into (:food), but we are confident that others in the Union can use these base materials to produce both (:food) and (:healthcare)."

The Clans' Senator provides her report: "The Lifebringer Clans will donate 90 (:food) on week 10. We will also send 145 (:organics) to the Sundarian Federation in order to facilitate their creation of (:healthcare). We thank the Miomanian Colonists for providing the trade capacity that makes this exchange possible. If any party has the capacity to produce (:food) or (:healthcare), we can supply them with 115 (:organics).

In the coming weeks, our production capacity surplus will shrink considerably, but we will continue to donate (:food) and (:organics) as much we can."

The Sundarian Federation has decided to donate 160 (:rares) and 15 (:organics) , which will be processed together with the 145 (:organics) provided to us by the Lifebringer Clans into 160 (:healthcare) which is the current production limit.

Futhermore we have 125 (:rares) to spare which we will also offer, however we do not have the needed capacity to process these materials into the products requested.

We will reconsider the availability of said resources and production capacity again next turn, but for now we foresee no problems in providing these amounts again.

"The Praetorian Empire supports the aid mission to help these people in need.
Because the Praetorian Empire has no big (:food) or (:healthcare) reserves we can only offer a small amount of resources.
We will donate 20 (:rares) in week 10, 11, 12 and 13 and 25 (:organics) in week 11, 12 and 13."

The Unified Republic of Darya will offer the uses of its recently build food zone for the 210 (:organics) from our good comrades in the Veolian Commonwealth to turn into 105 (:food) for the people in need. The good people of darya have decided to donate all this help during weeks 10, 11, 12 & 13

"Senators,

The first (turn 10) batch of aid supplies from the new member worlds, consisting of 195 (:food), 160 (:healthcare) and 20 (:rares) (which will be combined with other goods to build more Healthcare Products) has been collected and combined and is ready to be shipped.

Combined with the donations made by private parties and the older members, this puts us only just below of our goal of 2.500 (:food) and 2.500 (:healthcare) this week, meaning we are well on schedule!

On behalf of all those who will benefit from the most generous donations made:

Thank you."

"A small correction to the previous statement. The actual amount of rare elements is 145, not 20 as previously mentioned. My apologies for this mistake."

(( OOC: thanks! ))

"The Lifebringer Clans are pleased with the results of this first week of collections. It is good to know we live among such caring neighbors.

Our (:food) surplus has dropped considerably this week, but our economy is now stabilized. The figures we report this week will be maintained throughout the donation drive.

We will be providing 20 (:food) each week. Additionally, we will continue sending 145 (:organics) to the Sundarian Federation for processing into (:healthcare). This leaves us with a weekly surplus of 115 (:organics) and 70 (:rares). Any nation that can process these materials into (:food) or (:healthcare) for this aid mission is welcome to do so."

The Sundarian Federation is pleased to announce that we are able to extend our aid for another turn, and we thank the Lifebringer Clans for their delivery of the organic material needed for the fabrication of 160 (:healthcare) , our surplus of 125 (:rares) has also been made avialable for the purpose of this mission.

"The second turn has produced another wonderful batch of aid supplies from the new member worlds:

275 (:healthcare), 125 (:food), 215 (:rares) and 25 (:organics)

That brings the total up to 320 (:food), 435 (:healthcare), 360 (:rares) and 25 (:organics). We are currently only 10% behind schedual of our goal, and we are making significant strides of which we can all be proud!

Thank you"

"The administration has been somewhat chaotic, especially due to the most generous donations coming in from the general civilian population. Though small individually, more than 10 billion individuals rich and poor of over a dozen different worlds have made contributions to this cause, exceeding the expectations of 500 (:food) and (:healthcare) by almost 60%.

The total tally of aid delivered by the new member worlds comes to:

570 (:food)
755 (:healthcare)
795 (:rare-elements)
305 (:organics)

With some exchanging of rare elements for organics with the other aid groups and some additional industrial capacity made generously available by the Holy Heimgolian Theocracy, this has put us only 125 (:food) short of our goal, easily compensated by the generous private donations made by our citizens. Given the most ambitious goals, this is quite a feat!

As such, I can report that the Sentienatarian Aid Mission is mostly successful and that a fleet is now under way to take these supplies to their intended destinations!

We thank all members and all citizens for their enormous generosity in this effort."
