"I intend to improve bureacratic transparency by passing legislature to codify the use of public tenders, and by being punctual and concise in informating the senate of actions taken by the cabinet."

"Do you intend to abolish the war taxes now that they are no longer needed?"

"Of course! The fact that they have not yet been halted is one of the examples of opaque bureaucracy that I will not tolerate.

Right now, a few fleets, including a fleet of the Veolian Commonwealth, are chasing the last remnants of the Mandalorian Fleets that could still threathen the Union -- and part of the war taxes is sent to support the active fleets participating. But other than that, the war taxes remain completely invisible."
