"Ladies and gentlemen,

Although the previous cabinet have shown their dedication in protecting the Union, some clear issues are risen during the war. Not only are our Union fleets in need of repair, the fleets of the Union failed to destroy even a single Mandalorian fleet.

The fleets failed to catch up with the Mandalorian fleets invading our dear members, the Hiocan Society and the Astrian Colonial Authority.

Therefore, aside of repairing the Union fleets, I promise that during my period as Chancellor, I will make the Union fleets better capable of destroying enemy fleets, either by making our own fleets faster, or by preventing enemy fleets to retreat.

Also, once again it has become painfully obvious that the Union bureaucracy is too slow. The war with the Mandalorians is as good as over, but we still pay war taxes, and the planetary defence grid around Unity is still under construction. Therefore I promise once again to streamline the Union bureaucracy enabling the senate to make important decisions faster. So that for example the repairs of the Union fleets will not suffer the same fate as the Planetary Defence Grid around Unity."

"Immediately of course. The fleets of the Union are no longer in combat, and they don't have to engage in battle any time soon. If the fleets are not yet powering down to defensive operations, the current cabinet is wasting our taxes big time.

Although I am in favour of finishing the Mandalorians, I understand when it is not the wish of the senate to continue the war and I will listen."

Why do you not consider the Unified Empire of Azaryan Colonies a member of the Union?
