Dear Chancellor, Senators and representatives,
After a year of carefully investigation and a public hearing of all parties involved, the Committee for investigation into Daryan involvement in Novelia System is ready to present her findings. Enclosed with this message you'll find a short summary of the final report our committe has drafted.
I would also make a request to the Chancellor, as a result of this inquiry, to carefully consider whether or not a discussion about the extend of Union Law and the interactions with the affairs of its members is warranted or needed.
On behalf of the committee,
Senator Peinaili de Montrève
Commitee for investigation into Daryan involvement in the Novelia System - final draft summary
The committee has, based on the information made available to her and the public hearing of several officials involved, concluded the following:
We find no evidence, that the government of, or any other party from, the Unified Republic of Darya has had any direct involvement with the change of leadership in the Novelia System. Though they could have taking precautionary measures, such as employed by the Teprogrenaian Consensus. It is unclear whether the delivered capital vessels were instrumental in the change of government, but it is clear that a large amount of the delivered equipment has been used by one or both sides of the conflict.
It is the opinion of this committee that the involvement of the Daryans in the change of power only goes as far as being an honest, and cooperative, trader that delivers on time as promised. They should not be held responsible for how factions, internal to the former STF, planned on using the goods they received from another Union world. Any other events in the Novelia system or actions by the former STF government have no relevance in this investigation.
