"My dear Senators, the vote tally has been completed:

  • Option A: 1 vote
  • Option B: 0 votes
  • Option C: 4 votes
  • Option D: 4 votes
  • Abstains: 3 votes

I have not included a vote for Skuldda, the Sundarian Federation and the Teprogrenaian Consensus, as they did not make a clear vote.

As per the voting laws, Section 7, sub-paragraph IV, if a vote has more than 2 options and ends without a single option having an absolute majority, a second round of voting will take place.

Option B will be removed since it had zero votes, leaving options A, C and D of which half, rounded up, will move on to the next round, in this case options C and D, both having four votes.

I open the second round here immediately, with the same members being allowed to vote, but the options being limited to earlier listed options C and D.

Voting closes on 2015-10-27 23:59."

((OOC: Next time just open a new topic... New vote -> new topic. o_O))

"The Veolian Commonwealth votes in favour of option C."

"Furthermore, I urge others that doubted before to do the same. It is better to vote in favour of clear change, instead of voting for vague actions that put no limitations on how the money will be spent."

"My fine Senators, thank you for your continued activity. As it is, I hereby close the vote. The closing was delayed slightly to allow members who had not yet voted to still cast their vote in the second round, but I cannot in good conscious keep the vote open any longer. These are the results:

  • 4 vote for option C
  • 1 votes for option D
  • 2 abstentions

Option C wins! All member states are asked to make sure that their contributions of 500 (:tax) are paid by (:turn) 235."

((OOC: A special law was passed requiring a payment by all Union members. In turn 235, everyone should have paid the full sum of 500 (:tax).

There is a special subsidy data block and a status line that is added to the turn reports. Please see Note for Turn Auditors and people making turn reports for a note on how to put these payments in your turn report.

Even if you finish before then, please make sure to add this note in turn 235, so that once that turn has been approved, I can make sure everyone paid their extra taxes.))
