"The Unified Republic of Darya believes that the Jedi would make a good senate security force. Therefor we vote Yes"

Nehket Aeka - PC
"We would like to point out that the chancellor is in violation of the Union Voting Laws, article 6 section II. As this vote has not been closed yet, and the extension time has exceeded two days, we invite the chancellor to provide a valid reason for keeping the vote open.
If a valid reason is not produced within 2 days, we will consider this vote illegal and file a complaint with the Ministry of Justice."

Nehket Aeka - PC
Seeing how chancellor Bolv'ar was trying to ignore the issue of violating Union voting law, senator Nehket Aeka stood to address the senate.
With a strong voice, she addressed the senate:
"Fellow senators, chancellor,
I am afraid that we can not interpret this apology as a satisfactory reason for keeping the vote open for such lengths. With at least three days over due on top of the lawfully allowed grace period of 2 days, we feel that this is a serious infraction of the union voting law.
Chancellor, unless you can produce a satisfactory reason for this unlawful extension, we will consider this vote illegal and take the necessary measures."

“Dear fellow senators, chancellor,
Unfortunately, I have to agree with Senator Nehket Aeka. This violation of the voting laws cannot be taking lightly. The chancellor as leader of the Senate should uphold the rules and regulations, otherwise there will be anarchy. So this vote has to be redone.”
Senator Harek looks firm, he is a bureaucrat and this kind of neglection of the procedure does not agree with him. As the chancellor does not seem to be doing much except being away he makes some suggestions.
“Various Union members, like the Interregnum Democracy of Scir and the Socialist Republic of Niom, have a government system with a good bureaucracy as should the Senate have, so there is law and order. If the chancellor cannot do this, let’s appoint a chairman to the Senate who can lead discussions and take votes.”
Senator Harek takes a good look around to see how the other reacts to this. But he is not finished yet.
“Security problems and illegitimate votes are not good for the Union. It damages the Union internally, our integrity becomes lower and we will not be able to defend against great outer threads, like the Mandalorian fleet. We should cooperate and support each other, but these mistakes make it harder. Internal Affairs should not be neglected; we do not want to waste time by fighting amongst ourselves. I propose to appoint a minister of Internal Affairs, so everything within the Union is carefully regulated.”
Senator Harek has made his two statements and sits down. It might have been a little too much to be stated at once, but the senator wants improvement on the matters fast.

"Fellow Senators, I do not feel that a delay of a few days warrants these responses. However since they are here, I will yield the point. If the Ministry of Justice wishes to declare the vote invalid, I shall accept this decision."

"I wouldn't say that this small delay is not very important, especially when it is about our security." Danar Tassar did look straight at Bolv'ar with a stern face. "The Teprogrenaian Consensus did vote for you because we believed in a better security of the Union, but we are getting serious concerns when even our personal security is treated in such a laconic way.
Though we, of the consensus, also believe that we have a minister of justice to settle these kind of... issues, so yes we are in favour of bringing the issue to senator Shahkra and lets hear her judgement."
